We've taken this home and fully renovated it so that you can relax and enjoy all the Upper Peninsula has to offer. You focus your worries on planning the perfect getaway while we'll make certain that your housing is a clean, beautiful and hassle free; it's our guarantee! From the living room watch God do his finest work as the sun rises and sets over the Ishpeming Township Recreation Area, where you can enjoy a kid’s park, baseball fields, volleyball courts, and horseshoes. Rather relax? We've have a back yard with a fire pit to ease your mind and relax your soul! If you’re an outdoorsman seeking adventure, look no further. Biking, hiking, snowmobiling, ATV's, fishing, it can all be accessed from nearby. If you like to keep you bike/snowmobile/ORV clean; next door is a cleaning port. Have a large trailer? No problem, pull up and unload in the driveway, it’s large enough to park numerous trailers of most any lengths and it’s all asphalt, so no muddy messes during inclement weather. We also provide a large mudroom perfect for working on and/or storing your road and mountain bikes, snowmobile gear, or whatever else you feel is necessary to keep housed indoors (*coming soon is a work station for your bikes*).

This home offers 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, and can sleep 6 people. Two bedrooms have queen-sized beds, the other has a bunk bed. You'll have access to a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, Keurig coffee machine and washer and dryer. You're fully outfitted with plates, utensils, cookware, fresh towels and linens, and even a gas grill. Your less than 2 miles from groceries, gas stations, restaurants, and a local brewery. Jump in the car for approximately 15 minutes and you'll find yourself at the Lake Superior shoreline or in the beautiful downtown Marquette. See below for your adventurous needs:

Biking/Hiking:
• Experience some of the most beautiful and well-maintained mountain/snow biking trails in all of Michigan. If you wanted to hop on your bike and leave from the front door you would be less than 2 miles from the trails, which would lead you to nearly 100 miles of signed and mapped out single track bike trails for anyone from novice to expert abilities.

Clean and close to trails and lake
The house was very clean and well-stocked - there was even firewood ready next to the fire pit. It is close to the trails and Marquette, but is located next to the highway and other businesses, so traffic was a little noisy at night. However, each bedroom had a box fan that could be used for white noise. Overall, it was a great stay. We were there for outdoor recreation anyway, so we didn’t spend a lot of time at the house.

We visited Ishpeming/Marquette for a weekend mountain bike trip. The house was very clean, had all the amenities, and was a great size for three adults. A plus was the basement door access so we were able to store our bikes inside at night. The property isn't really in a neighborhood. It's behind businesses right off the main road so it's a little noisy. It didn't really bother us since we were out most of the time. Highly recommend.

I was up for the Marji Gesick mountain bike race. This was a perfect place for staging to ride the RAMBA MTB trails! It was super close to the trails and easy access to everywhere else being right off US41. Surrounded by a bunch of businesses, but that wasn’t a concern at all. Plenty of storage in the lower lever for bikes/gear! Awesome place that has obviously had some work done!!

Bike Riders Visit
The home was nice. The best part is the home was clean and located close to the trails we were going to ride. Google maps wasn't perfect to find the place and it is located behind a closed gas station. The home is located off from a main highway, so road noise can be an issue if you're a light sleeper. The downstairs was very nice for storage of our gear instead of lugging it upstairs, but if you have accessibility needs there will be stairs to navigate. The bedding was comfy and the wifi worked well. I would stay there again.

Super comfy stay!
As others have posted the location is a bit different but still an awesome stay. Throughly enjoyed our time at the house. Many nice items were added to make our visit much more enjoyable. They really thought of everything right down to having coffee and even laundry detergent. House was very clean and beds were comfortable. Abundance of towels, soap and shampoo too! Centrally located for everything we had planned to do in the UP. Definitely will stay here again.

My Children Loved the House!
My children absolutely loved this property! Having the ice cream shop and the park so close was awesome! It was very clear that the owners put a lot of time and effort into making this have all the comforts of home. Many small touches that went such a long way. Amazing place!!!
The place is recently renewed. It has the most up-to-date interior and equipped kitchen. The beds are comfy. The location is kind of goofy, sits between a car wash and oil change place but still is very private with no visitor traffic. Please be sure to carry quarters $ as the laundry in the basement needs it. Not a gripe but for your own convenience. I highly recommend the place and the owner of the property is very quick with communications and suggestions.
