This riad is in the South if the old city, so if you.want to experience the real Mareakesh it is great. It is great value for money. Breakfast is a mixture of local bread products sometimes accompanied by bolied eggs or yoghurt with lots of coffee. It is locared in a maze of streets but wasy to find once you have been. The staff are suoer helpful, can arrange trips and their sister Riad which is 5 minutes walk provides evening meals at a good price

Very nice Riad, approximately 10 minutes walk from the Souk. The staff, especially Mahmood, were very friendly and helpful. Ideal location for the Square and Souk.

Excellent hospitality
The Riad is in a good location, about a 15 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Djemma el Fna. Excellent hospitality by the staff there who showed us the way to the main square and walked round with us on the first evening to make sure we knew the way back to the Riad. If you want a hotel, then book a hotel but if you want to experience Marrakech then would certainly recommend staying in a nice and simple Riad such as this one!

The staff was exceptionally accomodating, lending us a hair dryer and switching our room to the upper floor. As this is a riad, all of the rooms border the central, covered courtyard. So we felt more comfortable upstairs. The host also walked us to our taxi at 6am, although the charge for having called the taxi, the taxi itself, and that service was 15 euros. This seems quite high since a taxi should cost approximately 2 euros to our destination, the train station. However, he thought we had said airport, which is farther, so perhaps this accounts for the expense. In addition, we had to pay 10 euros in tax, which surprised us. But other reviewers have written about that. In general, the room was adequate. Reasonably nice, reasonably warm at the beginning of April, with a nice heater in the bathroom. The floor and rugs were dirty-ish, which annoyed my girlfeind but I was OK with it. The breakfast of coffee, sweet mint tea, and some eggy type breads was nice in the mornings.

Riad a 1km dal centro di Marrakech
Il Riad si trova nel quartiere Berrima, in un vicoletto nascosto che non è facile trovare, a 20 minuti a piedi da piazza jemaa el fna. Se siete con l'auto la potete lasciare al parcheggio vicino alla moschea al costo di 3.50 euro a notte. Il patio è molto bello, per quanto non sia aperto (è chiuso con un telo di nylon). La camera tripla in cui abbiamo dormito noi purtroppo non ha ricambio d'aria, ne consegue che l'umidità rimane all'interno. Per il resto tutto bene, compresa la colazione. Mezzo voto in più per la disponibilità del proprietario, un ragazzo davvero gentile.

Die Zimmerausstattung ist auf den ersten Blick schön, beim zweiten Hinsehen offenbaren sich jedoch einige Mängel. Fenster ließen sich teilweise nicht öffnen, Duschstange war abgerissen und fehlte, Duschkopfgewinde war überdreht und sprang beim Duschen mehrfach vom Schlauch, Dachterrasse sehr lieblos gestaltet (daher nicht genutzt). Der größte Mangel jedoch: die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig und es ist sehr laut (auch die Nachbarschaft) vor 3 Uhr nachts war nicht an schlafen zu denken (vielleicht lag es an der Tatsache, dass gerade Ramadan war)

Schönes Riad an verwinkeltem Platz
Das Riad le Marocain liegt nahe des Palais El Badii in einer Seitenstraße. Da es schwer zu finden ist empfielt sich mit dem Besitzer ein persönlichen Shuttle vom Flughafen im Vorhinein auszuhandeln. Wir haben diesen für 10€ einen Weg bekommen. Für das erste Mal Marokko auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, da einen die Taxifahrer schön übers Ohr hauen, wenn es darum geht einen Platz in Marrakesch zu finden (30€ für 6km Fahrt z.B. + Falschem Führer bis zum Riad) Das Riad war gemütlich und sauber. Unser Zimmer war mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet und im Bad gab es zwei Waschbecken. Die Matratzen sind sehr weich. Wir konnten problemlos mit einer Person mehr anreisen und mussten nicht einmal für das Frühstück zusätzlich bezahlen! Gefrühstückt wird in dem schönen Vorraum, welcher auf dem Bild zu sehen ist. Leider gibt es jeden morgen das Selbe: Obst, Pfannkuchen, marokkanischen Blätterteigpfannkuchen (?) und Crepes mit Marmelade oder Honig, dazu Kaffee und Milch. Der Besitzer bietet immer zusätzlich noch an, dass man in seinem Restaurant ein paar Straßen weiter gerne ein Abendessen buchen kann. Zum testen blieb uns leider keine Zeit. Der Besitzer sowie die Frau, welche das Frühstück zubereitete, waren superlieb. Zuletzt ist noch die Dachterrasse zu erwähnen. Auf den Liegen kann man auch mal ohne viele Touristen die Dächer von Marrakesch genießen!

Sehr verstecktes, aber nettes Riad
Es ist ein kleines Riad in einer versteckten Seitengasse...wer selbst mit dem Taxi anreisen möchte sollte sich darauf einstellen an der Hauptstraße abgesetzt zu werden und den Rest des Weges mit einem der kostenpflichtigen Fremdenführer zu gehen. Es ist ein einfaches Gebäude, jedoch mit marokkanischem Flair. Die fünf Zimmer gehen alle auf den kleinen Innenhof, es gibt eine kleine Küche die man auch selbst zum Tee kochen nutzen kann sowie eine Dachterrasse. Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber völlig ausreichend. Wer mit einem Schlafplatz und Bad zufrieden ist wird sich hier wohlfühlen. Zudem befindet sich eine Klimaanlage in jedem Zimmer, sodass man diese individuell einstellen kann. Das Frühstück besteht aus verschiedenen Gebäcken, süßen Aufstrichen und Obst. Der Verwalter Hassan ist sehr hilfsbereit, allerdings ist es hier von Vorteil sich auch auf französisch verständigen zu können. Ein größeres Problem, besonders für die pünktlichen Deutschen ist, dass man sich auf eine Verspätung von durchschnittlich 30min zur verabredeten Zeit einstellen muss. Während des Urlaubs kein Problem, wenn es jedoch um den Flughafentransfair nach hause geht kann man schonmal nervös werden. Besonders da man die Schnelligkeit der Kontrollen am Flughafen vor Augen hat. Alles in Allem würden wir wieder dort übernachten, denn man bekommt das wirkliche Leben in der Stadt doch viel echter mit, als in einem der Luxushotels.

Ligging van hotel is prima tov bezienswaardigheden maar erg achteraf. Onze kamer was erg donker en sober zonder genoemde sfeer, wel erg ruim waar een zitje juist de sfeer had kunnen brengen. Ontbijt is goed met vers fruit en vers brood/banket.

Der Service vom Riad war super es war immer sauber man hat immer mit einem marokkanischem Frühstück gestartet was ich jedem empfehlen kann das einzige was zu bemängeln war die Dusche der Griff war kaputt aber sonst war nicht zu bemängeln

Super riad!
Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux du manager Hassan. Il (et toute l'équipe) était très professionel et en même temps c'était comme nous avions passé une semaine chez un ami. Il nous a expliqué de la culture arabe et bien corrigé notre prononciation. Il a organisé nos excursions et transports avec efficacité. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux. Le riad est très beau et accueillant. Je le recommanderais pour tout le monde.

Accueil chaleureux et situation idéale pour ce petit Riad. Riad très difficile à trouver en plein quartier populaire Gérant absent le jour de l'arrivée avec la panique que cela peut engendrer Petit déjeuner copieux et bon sans plus Chambre sale, douche bouchée, pas de lumière ni de chauffage dans la salle d'eau. Les serviettes n'ont pas été changées tous les jours. Taxes de séjour élevées !! 2,7 € par personne et par nuit

Het is even zoeken, maar dit kleine riad is zeker aan te raden als je op zoek bent naar een eenvoudig betaalbaar riad in de medina met zeer behulpzaam personeel. Uitstekend verzorgd ontbijt, ook al is het in alle vroegte voordat je aan een tour begint of je vliegtuig moet halen.

Siamo appena tornati da un piacevolissimo soggiorno presso questo Riad. Posizionato in una piccola stradina, dalla quale si raggiungono facilmente anche a piedi le zone da visitare Atmosfera familiare, camera spaziosa comoda in stile marocchino, molto carina e confortevole, bagno grande comodo. Ottima e abbondante la prima colazione. Il gestore molto gentile, ospitale e disponibile a risolvere eventuali richieste e a proporre escursioni e quant'altro, senza essere invadente e insistente ma rispettoso della nostre scelte. Per concludere è stato realmente un soggiorno a Marrakech molto piacevole e quindi ci sentiamo di consigliare questa Riad anche per la cifra decisamente competitiva. Luigi e Macò

Un Hotel in tipico stile marocchino, posizione eccellente! In soli 10 minuti a piedi si raggiunge il centro della città. Il proprietario è di una gentilezza incredibile, così come il personale. Abbiamo soggiornato in questo riad per una settimana e posso dire di aver trovato la sistemazione completa di tutti i confort. Colazioni più che abbondanti, con dolci freschi ogni mattina, veramente deliziosi! Quello che mi ricordo con più piacere, è il letto, di un confortevole unico, veramente difficile alzarsi la mattina :-). Consiglio questo riad a chiunque, con una cifra ragionevole, voglia godersi Marrakech secondo le tradizioni tipiche del luogo. Sicuramente torneremo!!!!
