Liked: large rooms, quiet, varied choices at meals, food was delicious Dislikes: bathroom had urine smell. I propped door open and smell wasnt as strong but was still there. Also, the resort is so big, it felt impersonal and cold

Loved the tranquility. Didnā€™t love the poor communication or having to ask more than once about addressing certain problems or concerns. Also, would be nice if they had free wifi. Who doesnā€™t have free wifi in this day and age?

Beautiful and relaxing
The place is lovely. We stayed in a Deluxe chalet which was comfortable and beautiful, with the view on the sea on one side and the desert and mountains on the other side (but careful to mosquitoes). We went there for a week end of February to snorkel and relax and it was the perfect place. Beautiful fishes and reef (thanks to the staff who make sure that people don't abuse the reef). We also saw many turtles and one white tip shark. The staff is friendly, professional and relax. The food was good. The transfer from Marsa Alam airport is quick and can be organised by the staff on demand. Everything was well-organised and made easy for the guests.

Royal Tent for 2 nights
My fiancƩ and I had a wonderful stay in a royal tent! The tent was just what we needed -- simple, comfortable, and clean. We even had a front row view to the sea! The bathrooms were a little bit of a walk from our tent, which made me dread having to go to the bathroom during the middle of the night. The food and staff were excellent with lots of variety for each meal. The reception desk helped us organize a day trip south along the Red Sea to see Qulaan and snorkel at Hankorab beach -- super affordable and a wonderful day! I will say that for Egypt prices, the tent is a little spendy for accommodations. Yes, you are right on the water and have access to all inclusive meals and beverages, but at times it felt like we were paying a "divers tax", especially since we weren't necessarily there for the diving. All in all, highly recommend and would love to stay here again if we are ever back in Egypt!

Very unique experience. Great staff, great facilities, beautiful house reef, hotel, rooms. Food was great too. only negative point that you have to pay for wifi, at least it should be included in the public areas.

Hotel vue superbe et tranquillitƩ pour plongeurs
TrĆØs bon sĆ©jour au Marsa Shagra Village. La vue est folle sur le spot de Plongee, la nourriture est correcte, les serveurs sont trĆØs sympas et tous habillĆ©s de la mĆŖme maniĆØre. Les chalets sont rudimentaires mais literie bonne, eau chaude et climatisation Ok. Par contre nous voulions faire du freediving et on nous a toujours donnĆ© une bonne excuse entre instructeur absent, mauvaise condition!!!?? Ou encore fallait prĆ©venir plus tĆ“t. Sinon dans le nĆ©gatif hormis chalet et buffet compris dans le prix on a vraiment lā€™impression dā€™ĆŖtre une vache Ć  lait que ce soit pour la plongĆ©e (4 PlongĆ©es Ć  200ā‚¬) ou encore le service de navette (marsa hurghada a 120ā‚¬)ā€¦
