This property was quiet, secluded and in a beautiful garden setting. Close to town but out of town, walkable to vineyards and town. Staff were pleasant and not overly present. Unfortunately the pool was closed for cleaning our whole visit. Our unit was very clean and tidy. Slightly showing some signs of wear and tear. Wifi was not good and needs improving in today’s modern internet settings. The breakfast was simple and nice. Our hot chocolates were not good, needs to improve. Overall very good stay and highly recommended.

This is our second stay here, and we highly recommended it. Excellent accommodation. The breakfast offees a great selection. The staff are super friendly and very attentive. We will certainty be back. We ordered room service from the restaurant and the food was delicious!

The resort exceeded my expectations. The room was perfect, very spacious and well appointed. The hot tub was almost new and sitting in it looking out over a frozen morning garden was next level. Absolutely beautiful Woodland Villa.
A stunningly appointed peaceful villa with high end finishes surrounded by grape vines. We wished we had longer to enjoy this beautiful place.

The cottage was lovely. Perfectly appointed. Hot tub was great. They were running late with housekeeping so we were parked up waiting for them to finish. That may explain why the vacuuming missed a few things. Also they were servicing the hot tub and deck while we were there. Would have preferred that was also done prior to arrival to preserve privacy and enjoyment of lovely space.

Very average stay in an outdated hotel
The hotel is nicely located within a 15-mn walk to the center of martinborough but it is very outdated. It was probably very modern 20 years ago but it needs a remodel now. All the furnitures, both inside and outside the units, are old. Similarly the kitchen and bathroom are old and in need of a renovation. The breakfast is average at best. There is only bad drip coffee available for free, the toasts are sliced processed white bread instead of fresh bread, most fruits are canned, etc. The wifi is barely strong enough to make video calls and the staff is not very helpful either.
