"The casale degli aranci" is a typical Sicilian villa,indipendent, on the
slopes of Etna surrounded by evergreen citrus fruit trees. It has two wide terraces and you can see the jonic coast from Taormina to the touristic port of Riposto and the spectacular charm of the mount Etna. There are two bedrooms the kitchen and a big bathroom. All rooms are equipped with all necessary things:air conditioner in the bedroom, indipendent central heating, television whit satellite-antenna,washing-machine, cooker, fridge,hairdrier, linen,etc., and privat parking lot. The lodging is in an ideal geographical context to relax.It's easy to reach the beach (4Km) and the most important touristic centers in the zone as Taormina,the Throats of the river Alcantara,Acireale,Acitrezza,Etna,Catania,Syracuse,Piazza Armerina,Messina and the Eolie islands.The airport of Catania is about 30 Km far from the villa but it's easy to reach it taking the highway road Catania-Messina.

This is an excellent property that is perfect for side trips up and down the coast from Taormina to Catania, Syracuse, Noto and beautiful beaches. The area is quiet and the views are spectacular. The hosts Mario and Angela are lovely and did all they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Amazing 360 degree view.
This would have been 5 stars all round except for the many dogs barking, thankfully not through the night and unfortunately we were bitten many times by mosquitoes. The views of Mount Etna were breath taking plus we had the added bonus of watching it erupt for hours late into the night from the comfort of the terrace. The villa is brilliant with private secure parking. Mario and Angela are excellent hosts. We would definitely recommend their villa for a holiday.

Amazing place
We spent 7 days in this place and it was the best choice we made. Very large and spacious villa, fully equipped. We were very warmly welcomed by Mario and Angela. Wonderful and warm people who did everything to make our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this place.

Perfect Getaway with everything we needed
You have everything you need here. Complete detached, mature villa. Surrounded by orange and lemon groves. With a roof terrace and another terrace below, you have ample space. A fully equipped kitchen, very comfy bed, all in all a home from home. Angela and Mario are perfect hosts and thank you for the homemade marmalade. A beautiful villa at the foot of Mount Etna
A beautiful villa located in an orchard at the foot of Mount Etna. After a day of sightseeing, it was so nice to relax on a large terrace with amazing sea views. The villa is very clean and spacious, and perfectly located for exploring the east of Sicily. Our host Mario was incredibly kind and helpful, and really made our stay special!

Holiday in Scicilly
The house is located in a beautiful setting and was very clean with everything we needed. It consists of two good sized bedrooms; kitchen and bathroom, the kitchen being in the centre of the property. There is no lounge but the kitchen does have a couch. The patio area outside (where we spent all our time when not sight seeing) is a substantial size and we were able to view the sea in one direction and Mt Etna in the other. It was very hot the whole week. The property is set among lemon and orange groves and was prone to mosquitoes. There is a machine at the property to repel them. Fairly reliable wi fi. There were four of us (two adult children) my son decided to come after I had booked so he slept on a camp bed in the kitchen which Mario and Angela very kindly made up. They were so helpful and even took my daughter and myself to the supermarket to stock up whilst my husband made a turnaround trip to pick up our son from the airport. The property is further out than I expected; and although it is only 4 km from the sea it actually took a while to get there due to the winding roads. I would recommend this property and the owners who were extremely obliging but without being intrusive. Thank you Mario and Angela

Charming villa in an orchard
Mario and Angelo are wonderful and generous hosts. Their cozy villa is set in an orchard and has many beautiful potted plants on one of the two terraces. On a clear day you can see Etna from the upper terrace. There are two bedrooms, one bath and a kitchen area. It is about an hour away from Etna and Taormina, making it a good location to drive to both attractions.

Perfect in Every Way
We found this house perfect for us. It was very quiet, clean, good kitchen utensil, very comfy bed, good linen, hot water, good secure onsite parking and reliable WiFi. The owners, Mario and Angela were the perfect hosts, providing many extras in the house including a basket of welcoming gifts on the table to greet us. They spoke good English and gave us good information on the local area. The house has beautful views to Mt Etna, the ocean and Taormina which is a must see, with a large terrace perfect for meals and relaxing. We doubt that there is better accommodation available in the area. We really enjoyed our time there.

Mario and Angela are great hosts. They made us feel so comfortable. There are lemons, tangerines and oranges all over the property to eat! Kitchen is well equipped. Beds are big and comfortable. We would book again if in Sicily.

A pochi chilometri dal meraviglioso circolo di golf Il Picciolo, la posizione ĆØ perfetta per esplorare la zona e godersi una pausa rilassante. Unico neo, il Wi-Fi non era molto veloce, ma ĆØ stata solo una piccola pecca in unā€™esperienza altrimenti perfetta. Accoglienza stupenda dal proprietario. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca relax, comoditĆ  e un facile accesso ai campi da Golfā€

Besonderes Haus mit viel PrivatsphƤre
Wir wurden sehr nett von Mario und Angela empfangen. Sie hatten uns einen Korb mit Verpflegung gerichtet, so dass wir am Abend nicht mehr einkaufen mussten. Das Haus ist stil- und liebevoll eingerichtet. Besonders ist die groƟe Terrasse, die fĆ¼r Nachbarn nicht einsehbar ist. Hier hat man einen groƟen Tisch, sehr viele Blumen und zwei bequeme Liegen und bei gutem Wetter einen herrlichen Blick Ć¼bers Meer und zum Ƅtna. Besonders ist auch der riesige ZitrusfrĆ¼chte-Garten aus dem wir uns frei bedienen durften. Im Mai gab es noch Orangen, Zitronen und Kumquats. Das Wetter im Mai war bis auf ein paar Regentage sehr schƶn mit Temperaturen so um die 25Ā°. Ein Auto braucht man hier unbedingt. Der nƤchste Supermarkt es circa 5 km entfernt.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house. Mario and Angela are lovely! Itā€™s nice and quiet, the roof terrace is ideal for stargazing at night and play during the day. The flowers, the citrustrees, everything is perfect! The house is close to a small bakery, so you can get fresh bread every morning, the other shopping has to be done by car. For us, this was the perfect place to be.

Wunderschƶnes Haus und fantastische Aussicht
Wir verbrachten eine wunderschƶne, erholsame Woche im Ferienhaus von Mario und Angela. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zu jeder Zeit erreichbar. Das Haus ist gerƤumig, sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und es war alles vorhanden was man so als Selbstversorger braucht. Die Lage des Hauses ist optimal fĆ¼r Unternehmungen an der OstkĆ¼ste und rund um den Ƅtna etc. Die Aussicht von der sehr gerƤumigen Terrasse ist sensationell, vor einem das Meer und dahinter der Ƅtna, umgeben von einem groƟen Garten voller Orangen und ZitronenbƤumen. Wir durften die FrĆ¼chte genieƟen und das haben wir auch getan! Sizilien ist eine wunderschƶne Insel, aber leider achten die Einheimischen nicht auf sie. Der immense MĆ¼ll Ć¼berall ist erschreckend und macht traurig. Die Menschen treten die Natur mit FĆ¼ĆŸen anstatt dieses Juwel zu schĆ¼tzen und zu bewahren. Einfach nur traurig!

Schƶnes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage
Meine Frau und ich waren fĆ¼r eine Woche von Ende Oktober bis Anfang November in diesem Haus. Die Vermieter Mario und Angela sind sehr nette und freundliche Leute. Bereits in Vorfeld bekamen wir umfangreiche Informationen und bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich von ihnen empfangen. Sie hatten uns sogar einige sehr leckere Willkommensgeschenke (Wasser, Kaffee, Kekse, selbstgemachte Marmelade) in die KĆ¼che gestellt! Das Haus ist sehr gemĆ¼tlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns dort sofort wohl gefĆ¼hlt. Von der Ausstattung her hat uns in dieser Woche nichts gefehlt. Ganz toll haben wir die Insektenschutzgitter vor vielen Fenstern empfunden ā€“ das haben wir schon so oft anderswo vermisst. Hier konnten wir sorgenfrei LĆ¼ften! Die Lage des Hauses am Rande eines kleinen Dorfes ist sehr ruhig. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen tollen Blick auf die KĆ¼ste und die KĆ¼stenstƤdte Taormina, Naxos, Giarre und viele mehr. Besonders abends, wenn die ganzen Lichter angehen, ist das ein sehr beeindruckendes Panorama. Zur anderen Seite hin kann man den Etna sehen. Und abends ist trotz der umgebenden StƤdte ein toller Sternenhimmel zu bewundern. Im Dorf gibt es einen kleinen unscheinbaren BƤcker, der sehr leckeres Brot und Kuchen macht. Alle anderen Besorgungen muss man mit dem Auto machen, da die SupermƤrkte schon etwas entfernt sind. Alles in Allem kƶnnen wir dieses Haus jedem nur wƤrmstens empfehlen!

Sehr schƶnes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage mit Blick auf den Ƅtna und auf die KĆ¼ste. Ideal als Ausgangspunkt fĆ¼r AusflĆ¼ge nach Taormina, Syrakus, Catania und natĆ¼rlich zum Ƅtna. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern ist unkompliziert und einwandfrei. Wir (2 Erwachsene + 2 Jungs 11und 16) hatten eine wunderbare Woche auf Sizilien!!

Wunderschƶnes Ferienhaus
Wir waren Ende September 2023 und hatten angenehme Temperaturen von 28- 30 Grad. Das Ferienhaus ist wunderschƶn, mit sehr gutem Blick auf den Ƅtna jeden Morgen. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig in einer SeitenstraƟe, mitten in einem Mandarinenhain. Die KĆ¼che ist gut ausgestattet, mit allen notwendigen Geschirr und Kochutensilien. Wir hatten ausreichend frische HandtĆ¼cher, sogar BadehandtĆ¼cher. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Besitzer Mario und Angela. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und mit wertvollen Einkaufstipps (BƤcker, KƤseladen, Keramikladen, Pizzeria, etc.) versorgt. Bei Bedarf haben wir Ć¼ber Whatsapp (in Englisch) kommuniziert und konnten schnell alle Fragen und Anliegen klƤren. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Doris & GĆ¼nter.
