The Grand Hotel Due Golfi perches majestically on a hill high over Sorrento. The view from the pool and the balcony (we booked a sea view room) was awe-inspiring. The Bay of Naples, Naples, Sorrento and Mt Vesuvius are all laid out at your feet. The rooms were well appointed and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and went out of their way for us, valet parking the car, making tour arrangements for us on short notice (boat to Amalfi, tour to Pompeii and Herculaneum), reserving shuttles to Sorrento (which is a bit of a long twisty ride, they are up on top of a mountain after all and riding in the front is not for the faint of heart, but can be quite exciting sometimes). The food at breakfast and in the evening was awesome. Many of the restaurants in Sorrento had more selection, but after a long day sightseeing it was nice to just be able to slip down to the in-house restaurant, no navigating crowds or dodging scooters in the half darkness of evening. The infinity pool was incredible, if a bit cool on a cloudy October evening. While not inexpensive, it was quite a bargain compared to many other hotels in the area with remotely the same view and level of accommodation. It satisfied my bucket list requirements for a memorable trip to the region. All in all it was a fantastic stay and I would rebook in a heartbeat.

Fantastic hotel with views to die for!! Great service from all at the hotel. Free car parking and shuttle bus to sorrento is a bonus. Rooms very comfortable and well equipped.

Fantastic place to relax away from the hustle bustle down in Sorrento . Staff , views , room, ambiance all top notch . Amazing buffet breakfast options set you up for the day if you were off early to explore the sights. Pool and bar area lovely for relax / recharge / reflect .

Excellent option in the Sorrento area, with elegant amenities and great food. Everything was perfectly clean and orderly. This sort of quality at a fair price is by no means easy to find in the area. Included both-way shuttles to Sorrento city center. Would appreciate more comfortable mattresses though. They also have amazing views of the Napoli gulf.

If you are walkers, there is a terrific trailhead 5 min from hotel to walk all the way to town and back. 30 min down, 40 min back up. Pretty steep, but was a nice walk. Hotel was great. Fairly secluded, shopping and restaurant-wise. Hotel offers free shuttle to town and there are a couple restaurants to walk to down S Agata. Hotel view is 5 star!

We loved our stay at this hotel. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The hotel, room and pool area is beautiful! We loved being in the pool overlooking the sea. The shuttle the hotel provided was very convenient. We walked 15 minutes to Sant'Agata where there were so many restaurants and stores, it was a very quaint local feeling area. The meals we had in the restaurant were delicious, I loved the tasting menu for a treat one night. I would stay here again and I would recommend this hotel.

Had such a wonderful trip at this hotel!!! The pool is awesome with incredible views and the shuttle is so convenient. Also awesome to have a bar open late and a nice restaurant next to the pool as well!
