Elevation is a vacationers' paradise! The location of this home could not be any more amazing: located right next to the Main Street ski slope, come Winter, this home boasts incredible ski-in/ski-out access. If you aren't up to the challenge of the Main Street slope, you can easily hop on the chair lift 4 to the several green and blue trails. After a long day of on the slopes, you can even use the home's hanging boot heater to make sure you have a dry and warm pair for the next day! It's not just Winter that shines here, though. Even in our non-snowy months, you'll enjoy a fabulous mountainside view from this home!

Inside, there is one standout amenity that we know will capture your attention right away: an indoor heated salt pool! While you are in your bathing suit, you'll want to check out the home's outdoor hot tub, too!

One of our favorite features of the home's great room is the plentiful dining room seating (seats 20 across two tables + four additional bar stools at the kitchen counter). Everyone can dine or play cards together, swapping stories and raising a glass to being together! Fun and family await at beautiful Elevation!

Location highlights: Besides the wonder of the ski slopes right outside the door, the home is also within easy walking or driving distance to Wisp's Adventure Sports Center International (ASCI) which boasts an incredible manmade whitewater rafting course that operates all summer long. Wisp's mountaintop Lodestone Golf Course is also just minutes away!

This house has it all! Views, comfy beds, giant kitchen with pantry. Area to put skis/boots, hot tub, indoor pool...the list goes on. Really enjoyed the ski in/ski out accessibility with 3 other families this January. Highly recommend, 10/10.

Perfect ski location at Wisp
The house is in a virtually perfect location for a ski vacation at Wisp. It is ski-in-ski-out right onto Main Street, a black groomed run, but you can also walk just slightly uphill and around a corner, only about 100 feet, to load onto service chair #4 which leads to all sorts of blue and green terrain. This is really helpful for a large family group with skiers (and ages) of all different abilities.The home itself is excellent. This was my first experience with Red Barn Vacations, the management company that handles the property, but they really seem on top of their game. It is really professionally managed. Their communication and responsiveness was excellent. The indoor pool and hot tub were obviously reliably serviced and in working order. The place was meticulously clean.It is a large house, up to 20 guest capacity. Our party was 11 (6 adults, 5 kids). I had read at least one past review that mentioned running short on hot water, which sounded plausible. We had no issue, but were mindful and staggered our shower and/or bath times. I am not actually sure if we needed to do that, but that is what we did.With the large number of bedrooms of different configurations, and multiple bathrooms, it really provided for a helpful distribution of sleeping locations for all the adults and kids (e.g. some of the kids together in the bunk room). Just a great home overall. We had a fantastic time during our stay at this house.

The house was amazing for our family of 18 people plenty of room and they were so accommodating with check-in and checkout, and all of our deeds will definitely run it again for next year. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could want except for a pizza cutter. Lol

Extended Family Reunion
Loved the place a and the cleanliness. 8 bedrooms was great and all are a nice size. Online pictures make the place look a little newer and fraher than it really is but everything about the place was in good working order. Pool and hottub were great and they had a family of super fat gophers around the house that made for good entertainment.

Large family vacation
Celebrated a 40th birthday weekend here and the house had plenty of space for multiple families with several children each. Beds and size was great. Note their oversized hot tub was the largest I had ever seen in a rental property so that was an unexpected bonus. Cons. Cleaning company could’ve done a better job. Cobwebs throughout, cups and dishware needed to be rinsed before using, debris in pool. Management company could pay more attention to detail. Several lightbulbs out inside and outside. Heated pool said to be set at 85° in house pamphlet only to find out it was set at 81° which is quite cold. Not a huge deal since temperature was easily adjusted. The room in the basement corner by the living room seems to have air circulation issue with the carpet near back wall getting damp. Leaving bathroom door open and fan running seemed to mitigate this. Overall a good stay. Location was great.

Wonderful time
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stedan Court. Everything was as or better than described, the house was clean and accessible and had many ammenities. The pool and hot tub were a welcome opportunity after a long day of walking to the adjoining ski lift. We absolutely woukd book again and appreciated the wonderful long weekend with fanily and friends!

Perfect family getaway!
What a delightful experience we had in this home. McHenry and Deep Creek Lake are gorgeous places for a summer visit. Whether young or adult, there is plenty to do and see. Although you'll need to do some driving to get anywhere (which is a price you pay for wanting to stay on a mountain), it is easy to navigate (Google Maps worked best) and gorgeous everywhere you go. The house is just lovely. We had 15 guests with a mix of adults (including octogenarians) and small children. There is plenty of seating to enjoy meals together, and lots of space for hanging out while the little ones are napping. There are bedrooms on all floors, with a master on the main floor to allow fewer stairs for the less mobile. We even had several people working 'from home'. The wifi is good and work spaces are plentiful. The are so many bathrooms! Getting everyone ready was a breeze. No issues with water pressure or temp. There are multiple fridges, microwaves and ovens for handling food in-house. The security entrance for the pool is brilliant for those with kids. The pool is lovely and we used it almost daily. We didn't have time for the hot tub, but it would have been plenty big. The pool table was a bonus. There are also TVs galore, but we never turned one on so I can't speak to the options. The check-in/out process was the smoothest I have ever experienced in my years of handling our family getaways. I had a visit guide on my phone and the team was available via text.
