Beautiful and Fun
Rose Ann and Duane are wonderful hosts, a hot breakfast each morning, beautiful views and great suggestions of things to do. We enjoyed spending time walking around the property and seeing all the animals, playing pool, and just visiting with Rose Ann and Duane.

Wonderful Place and People
Rose Ann and Duane were wonderful. They are great people and were very accomodating to my late schedule. Rose Ann was very gracious in getting up at whatever time i needed to cook me breakfast. The little dogs Karina and Luca were a pleasure, always happy and excited to see you. The room was great, comfortable and clean. And the property was nice to walk around. I am looking forward to my next stay. Wonderful people.

Bit O' Heaven
Jan and I needed a place to anchor for a few days, hoping to have at least one fine day to visit Crater Lake, a first for us both. Duane and Roseanne were very gracious hosts opening their home to folks like us for a modest fee. The property is very pleasant, exhibiting a near constant focus on presentation and maintenance. Our room was comfortable and private (when we would close the door), with a shared bathroom with other guests, if there were any at the same time- which there were not. To come back from our daily outings to their home and have access to their kitchen for our simple meals was always easy, simply needing to consider their need for a sense of home and alone mealtime. Breakfast- the meal provided by our hosts- was always a good start to our day. Thank you, Roseanne and Duane!

Fairytale Get Away
WOW! I cannot say enough good about this stay. We were both under the weather almost from the moment we arrived, and RoseAnn & Duane could not have taken better care of us. They are both hilarious, so sweet and caring, and we absolutely enjoyed them both so much. The house is decorated so cool, and RoseAnn is from New York which I am obsessed with so it was a perfect fit. Their home is so lovely, cozy, warm, and inviting. Karina & Luca the little doggies are such sweet little loves and constantly gave us snuggles. There are two sweet adorable kitties outside and also “guard” geese outside. It took a day for them to get used to me, but once they knew I was trusted they were cool with me =-) There are also deer that were born on the property so they walk super close up to the house and eat cherries from the tree, and there are even fawns right now! It was like wild animal kingdom and just so magical to witness. This was a beautiful, quiet, amazing stay and I will definitely be back!

We’ll be back
Quiet rural forest property a wee bit out of town but suited us just fine. Rose Ann & Duane, our wonderful hosts, provided a clean neat bedroom, bathroom, plus fantastic breakfasts in their spacious and lovely home. Their small dogs and watchful geese were all also welcoming. We weren’t the most “available” guests as we spent most of our daytime hours away from the lodging on family visits. (hope to change that up next trip) This IS country living at its finest!

B&B hospitality with great hosts
We loved our weekend stay with RoseAnn and Duane. We felt right at home with them, their dogs, cats, geese, deer, and of course Lady Liberty welcoming all from the island in the pond. The views are beautiful, RoseAnn’s breakfasts are absolutely delicious, and you probably won’t leave without a book from her vast collection. Their place is a rare find and they are a treasure.

Perfectly titled … it is a great country escape!
Country Living at its Finest was a perfect stop during a whirlwind trip in the Pacific Northwest! Listing is accurate but doesn’t even scratch the surface of how peaceful and nice it is. There is wildlife and a gorgeous outdoor space (that we enjoyed looking at from the air conditioned great room as we got to ‘enjoy’ a heat wave and area wildfires leaving a haze and smoky smell. RoseAnn and Duane are great hosts; friendly and full of knowledge and recommendations. I truly enjoyed chatting with RoseAnn! Her suggestion was prefect with when to head to Crater Lake as it felt like we had the park to ourselves for a while and got to see it’s glory and majesty before the smoky haze rolled in. Highly recommend for a couple or an individual needing a place to unwind and relax. And breakfast was a huge bonus as it was fantastic.

Enjoyable Oregon Stay!
We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful property in July. I booked this property because of its location (close to Crater Lake National Park) and reasonable price. We were greeted warmly by RoseAnn and Duane and their 2 fur babies when we arrived. They were very personable and had everything ready for us. We had a great chat and a look around their beautiful property. My husband and I have never slept so well!! The bed was comfortable and it cooled down at night with the windows open to let in the cool mountain air! We had our own bathroom which was perfect! RoseAnn made us wonderful breakfasts each day and made suggestions about what to do, and where to go and dine. Everything she suggested was "spot on"! I felt like we had made new friends by the time we left. It was an incredible stay! We would be stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you RoseAnn and Duane! SKOL Vikings!! Roseanne and Duane are the best hosts. They make you feel like longtime friends or family. Breakfast in the morning ing was superb. They gave great tips for where to eat supper in town and also on our itinerary for the upcoming days. The mountain air was refreshing and loved seeing all the animals around the farm.

This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay and a steal at the price. I have never been treated so kindly in ANY place that i have ever stayed before. The room was great and very comfortable also full of intriguing things. The deck is a great and inviting place to eat breakfast and she doesn't disappoint. Beautiful and clean home to stay. Owners and their two dogs made us feel like home at all time.
We loved their garden and the organic fruits and vegetables came off from their trees. RoseAnn was so friendly and kind to us. She made us breakfast and helped to plan activities for our last day of the trip. She is so thoughtful and a very caring lady. I’m going to tell my family and friends about her place, if ever they come visit this is the place they want to stay at.

Truly country living at its finest!! What a great find!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Duane and RoseAnn's country home. As everyone has said, they felt like instant best friends. RoseAnn's attention to detail to make you feel welcome and comfortable is a gift. What a warm heart and great cook! I really had a lot of fun and will look forward to going back. My little pup Chloe loved having buddies to play with and a big lawn to run around on. Thank you!!

What a great place and great people!
First, let me tell you about the accommodations. This truly is country living at its finest. The house has a "friendly, relaxed" feel to it. We felt comfortable just as soon as we walked in. The setting is amazing. The owners (more about them in a bit) have created a landscape that is every bit as comfortable and relaxed as their home. A small pond, friendly geese, two great little dogs, deer that visit from time to time, a horse shoe pit, a "golf course".....just a wonderful setting. Now, about the owners. Rose Ann and Duane have the rare ability of making strangers feel just like friends. As soon as we met them, we felt as though we had known them for years. Just very nice, warm, genuine folks. Oh, and my the way, Rose Ann is a great cook! Be sure to ask for some of her homemade jam (peach was our favorite). All in all, staying here was a wonderful experience. And meeting Rose Ann and Daune was a major part of that wonderful experience.

A beautiful property with lovely hosts.
From the time we arrived and greeted by deer and geese to being sent off with love from the dogs, it was a wonderful time. The property is gorgeous and the hosts were superb. They were very kind in sharing their house with us and were most gracious to ensure everything was perfect. The accommodations were great and the breakfast was enjoyable.

Such an amazing spot for a weekend getaway with friends!
We recently spent Memorial Day weekend with RoseAnn and her husband Duane in their gorgeous country home. My boyfriend and I live in Portland and our two friends live in Santa Rosa, CA and so we were looking for a good, somewhat halfway point to meet up. I'm sure glad we found this place! RoseAnn and Duane were more than we could have hoped for. She had fantastic breakfast for us every morning and provided us with great tips on what to do in the area. We even went for a nice hike right there on their property! Place is located far enough where you really feel relaxed and secluded, but close enough to get into town pretty easy. We went mountain biking in Jacksonville and ate and checked out local breweries in Medford and all were really easy to get to. We had decided to bring a smoker down to smoke a tri tip and so we hung out at the property one night and just soaked in the amazing weather on their beautiful back porch. There is a grill there that RoseAnn said we could use if we didn't have the smoker, so if you have good weather, take advantage. They also have a pool table, so we were able to shoot a couple games, and then there is another TV room secluded off to the side so if you wanted to just hang out in there and play board/card games, watch TV, or just chat, there is always that option. Beds were super comfy and I slept like a rock each night. There's a garage if you bring mountain bikes, or whatever, you can keep them in there. We brought some lawn games with us and there was plenty of space to enjoy those. I never felt like I was missing anything or wished there was something more. All in all, it was an amazing stay and we would return in a heartbeat! We loved the conversations and the hospitality that RoseAnn and Duane showed us. Definitely would recommend staying here :) Oh, and their dogs were super cute!
