Must stay if planning a visit to the area
This is a great place to stay if your visiting the area. The mansion is beautiful and the room is comfortable. The staff was fantastic. The restaurant was surprisingly good, which was unexpected for a small hotel.

Unfortunately we arrived on a day when there was a wedding party. This resulted in not having the full use of the ammenities; could not sit in the restaurant for meals, and the room bar fridge was removed and was being used elsewhere for the wedding. All in all we did not get the full ambience of the hotel as we had expected. We did not get our money's worth!

The beauty of southern Latvia
Lovely place to stay in the middle of nowhere, but close to the big city, if you travel by car. Nice hotel - well renovated manor with all the modern equipment U need. Check out also the beautiful scenary of the southern Latvia - town Kraslava and river Daugava bends.

Schönes Haus, passende Einrichtung, angenehmer Garten, großer Pool. Das Personal war aber etwas reserviert, das Essen eher einfach (bekomme ich genauso bis besser hin) und ein paar Einrichtungsgegenstände könnten erneuert werden (bspw. Teppich auf der Treppe).

Viesnīcā "Sventes muiža "apmetāmies pirmo reizi. To izmantojām Jaunā gada sagaidīšanai divatā. Vēl vecā gada vakarā uzspējām nopērties un izkarsēties krievu pirtī un un laiskoties džakuzi siltajos burbuļos. Ļoti patika nepiespiestā atmosfēra, garšīgi un skaisti pasniegtie ēdieni vakariņās un brokastīs. Esmu dzimusi aprīļa mēnesī, tāpēc iepriecināja un izbrīnu radīja numuriņa nosaukums"Aprīlis", kurā mūs izmitināja. Atpūta izdevās! Paldies personālam! Dabūjām to, ko vēlējāmies!

Großes, geräumiges Zimmer in etwas angestaubter Atmosphäre. Komfort (4 Sterne) sollte doch etwas anders aussehen! Matratzen der Betten nicht völlig geruchsfrei! Die Rezeption war zeitweise nicht besetzt, wir mussten 10 Minuten mit dem Einchecken warten. Frühstücksbuffet schmackhaft mit reichlicher Auswahl lokaler Speisen. Parkplatz im Innenhof (für die zentrale Lage in der Altstadt ein besonders hervorzuhebendes Merkmal).

This hotel has not so beatiful neighbourhood but the building is glorius. Very nice backyard and clean rooms. Quality food and if needed, you can get your breakfast earlier. Good service.

Schönes Herrenhaus in trostloser Gegend
Wir suchten das Hotel lange, weil es an Straße kein Hinweisschild gibt. Es liegt versteckt hinter Wohnblocks in einem trostlosen Ort namens "Svente". Obwohl das Hotel angeblich erst im letzten Jahr renoviert wurde, bröckelt überall der Putz ab. Personal ist freundlich und bemüht und auch nicht ganz so reserviert, wie sonst in Litauen. Der Zustand unseres Zimmers war schlecht, abgenutzte Möbel und viel Schmutz. Möglicherweise ist es aber trotzdem eine gute Wahl in der Gegend, weil die Hotels in Dagauvanpils zumindest von außen noch einen schlechteren Eindruck machen.

Уютный отель
Тишина, спокойствие. Уютные номера и прекрасное обслуживание вот визитная карточка отеля. Кухня заслуживает самых высоких похвал. Рекомендую тем кто устал от городского шума и суеты.

Lyxig herrgård med intressant museum
Riktigt bra hotell med fin service. Hotellet är nyrenoverat och personalen var bra på engelska. Intill hotellet finns ett litet museum med stridsvagnar från andra världskriget. Vi hade kört motorcykel dit och fick parkera dem i museet/garaget, tack för det! Middag och frukost var bra. Skulle gärna bo där igen!

Loistava majoitus ja palvelu
Vaikka hotelli oli aika muhkuraisen tien takana, kun tulimme koillisesta, niin kaikki sen jälkeen yllättikin. Todella loistava palvelu ja kaikki oli kohdallaan. Palvelun kruunasi aikaiseen lähtöön, ilman lisähintaa tarjottu aamiainen, joka sekin oli täydellinen ja tarjottu vaan meille!

Utenfor allfarvei, ca 5 kilometer fra Daugavpils sentrum. Men en skikkelig perle, egentlig, med fyr på peisen og et helt akseptabelt kjøkken. Når du virkelig vil komme deg vekk, er dette stedet.

Fint slot til en nat eller til den store fest.
Vi boede der en enkelt nat en smuk septemberdag på vej sydover fra Letland til Vilnius. Slottet er flot og maden var god, så vi slappede af i stilheden. Blev eninge om, at stedet ville være den fineste ramme for en familie- eller firmafest. Meget rimelig pris.

Hotel correct mais pour pas plus d´une nuit
Chambres simples et propres mais au mobilier un peu défraichi. Les matelas ne fournissent plus vraiment de soutien et on peu sentir chaque ressort au travers ! Boire l´eau du robinet n´est pas non plus à recommander, elle est rouillée. En géneral on retrouve très souvent ce problème de vieilles canalisations et de rouille dans l´eau dans tout le pays. Le restaurant de l´hotel est par contre tout à fait correct et à des tarifs compétitifs. Le petit déjeuner est lui aussi correct.
