The hotel itself was very nice and the room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately there was no signal on the TV and I couldn’t access the streaming services either, even after messaging Lily, the host for assistance and being told there was a chromecast that usually works. It was difficult to get the check in instructions and I had to ask several times for clarification as you pick up the keys from a sales assistant at a supermarket… but have to pay for parking everywhere in the area where you have to collect the keys! This was quite annoying as I was on my own at this stage which meant that I had to park as there were parking inspectors walking around. This was all very annoying as I paid a premium for an accommodation with a car park included to avoid this! The room was also not locked when I arrived, which was the way I had to leave the room as well, after having to ask Lily for the check out instructions. Lily just agreed with my comment about if I should be leaving the keys in the room. There was also no water container attached to the coffee machine, which rendered it completely useless and no tea towel to dry dishes.
