This was the ideal place for my wife and I to stay for our long weekend in the beautiful Yarra Valley. From the time we arrived when we were greeted by the lovely hosts until the time we left it was total relaxation in idyllic surroundings of nature. As Frank Costanza said, “Serenity Now, Serenity Now!”. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely quiet location nestled in a valley looking out onto a lake filled with bird life. The hosts were lovely, the accommodation comfy and clean. A variety of treats and breakfast goodies laid on for our enjoyment. Wandering around the lake was a delight.

A natural retreat in the Yarra Valley
We were looking for a weekend in the Yarra Valley, wineries on the Saturday, Healesville Sanctuary on the Sunday. Perfectly situated for both, we liked the sound of The Burrow but it exceeded all expectations. A wander around the billabong at sunset, bird watching, meeting the lovely old airedale terriers, dining in and playing scrabble, serenaded by a chorus of frogs, a good night's sleep and a hearty farmhouse breakfast, to say nothing of our lovely hosts. Our stay all too brief, we will be back, for longer next time.

Peace and Quiet in the Country
If you love peace, good food and nature this b&b is for you. Sue and Bill are the perfect hosts. Comfortable cabin 1 hour from the city. Will be back for sure.
