It was a clean, spacious room. However, the bathtub was missing a plug. When I called the desk they could not understand that the plug was missing. We stuffed a facecloth in the drain, so that my 92 yr old mother could have a bath. Later I went to the desk, and the receptionist took me to another room to show me how to push the button to close the tub. I explained there was no button present. I asked her if I could take the one in the empty room, she agreed and I unscrewed it and installed it in our room. I think having a plug in the bathtub should be part of the room ready checklist. There was only one washer and dryer for the guest laundry for the whole place. The washer requires 12 quarters for a single load and only one of the slots on the machine was accepting quarters. The dryer took 2 loonies. It was well used so several trips to the main floor were required to do two loads of wash. Finally, the two days that I was there, there was a crew patching holes in the parking lot with asphalt. I drove from Saskatoon to this hotel without any problem, but on the first morning a back to tire was absolutely flat. A tow truck was required and then a trip to Fountain Tire. Very quick service from them, by the way. They found a 1 inch long piece of metal in my tire. I had no issues on the highway, so I wonder if this happened in the hotel parking lot. I was going to mention this to the hotel, but was not able to wait for a front desk person to be available. Annoying experience!

Refullable toiletries are not sanitary, i had to go out and buy my own which was inconvenient and an extra expense. Room was noisy and cold, thermostat was locked at 20 degrees and could not be turned up or down. Bathroom shower had layers of soap scum and mold, very very gross. Some of the furniture (sofa and armchair) were visibly stained and nneded to be steamed.
