It was ok but we didn’t appreciate them turning the AC off when we were gone ( ok they said it was because it was expensive but we paid for a room with A/C…when off, it was very warm and humid… ) Also we stayed for 3 nights and had complimentary small water bottles the first night… we thought that it was very cheap, we would have appreciated having one for each night… Overall, value for money was not very good.

El lugar es pequeño y agradable, el personal ,muy atento y amable. mas sin embargo hay varias cosas quetienen que mejorar, por ejemplo: 1. Necesitan tener mejores toallas, ya que las que tienen estan viejas e incluso me toco una agujerada. 2. El baño carece de extractor y por tanto acumula mucha humedad. 3. Solo proveen una botellita pequeña de agua por huesped por estancia, es decir, no diariamente sino solo una sin importar si estaras alli un dia o una semana. 4. No ponen un vaso para enjuagarte en el baño

I loved my stay in here, it's a gem. I'll be back definitely. The staff is very friendly and they will tell you more about Yucatan stories and places to go, the breakfast is delicious, and one thing I gotta say is about the whole structure of the hotel, it gives you that rustic vibe and feel... and the shampoo!!! I think i'll be back just because of that shampoo they provide! haha The beds area amazingly soft, just enough to lay yourself down into deep sleep after a full night out, or to chillax at the pool after a full beach day. I strongly recommend renting a car at National by the airport, they are also friendly. The parking at the hotel is super convenient, and nearby. If you want a relaxing beach, where almost no one is around, Celestun is your spot. (progreso is too crowded). Plus, you'll see the flamingos and ojo de agua.

Few minutes walk from El Centro. Extremely quiet, i needed rest, that was the place, private access to the roof for your private piscina. The best is no kids.

Un hotel para ir a dormir, el problema fue que el ultimo dia no nos dejaron dormir porque segun el ayuntamiento estaba haciendo trabajos en un pozo de agua en el hotel. No se dejen guiar por las fotos bonitas, es un hotel que cumple con lo basico.

Great stay near the Center of Merida
We had a great 10 day stay at Casona 61. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms and public areas were immaculate, and the location made getting around the city very easy. Wifi and AC were top notch, and the grounds were beautiful. The only thing lacking was a mini-fridge in the rooms, but this was a minor inconvenience. Would definitely stay again without hesitation.
