Upon arriving. The clerk greeted me but when the conversation got deep, she needed her phone to translate English. Next red flag everyone was in the lobby charging their phones. I found out why. The staircase had a lose board & i hurt my toe, but they fixed that so quick. Next red flag rude security notified me I only booked 2 ppl & I had to pay double for the 3person. No problem. We left to go shop, came back to find out outlets don’t work, nor the lights. We were located in a basement. Toilet over flooded from just flushing it, literally. And back up in the room water everywhere . Guy tired for a hour or so and this at 10pm at night. We never stayed we ended up at the Catalina. I took pictures & videos. I want my money back.

There was one light in our room. Only the outlet by the ceiling worked and everything was plugged into it. I could touch the ceiling but i didnt want to because it was peeling. The ac only works if you use the remote right next to it. No cable at all, just a random fire stick left unplugged by the tv. The room was in the basement. We called it the dungeon. It creaked and moaned. I considered cancelling and finding another hotel but we only had to survive one night. I will always remember this one terrible night. This place should be on hotel hell with gordon ramsay, hed have a field day.

What a nice surprise after reading bad reviews! We got a massive room with two queen beds that was very clean with great AC.amd no bugs. The front desk person was friendly, checked us in quickly and helped us to the 2nd floor with our luggage. The cleaning was daily and the first night she gave us extra towels. Everything was clean in the room but the bathroom had a leak in the ceiling that was annoying but negligible. It's a charming old building and is currently getting the upkeep it needs. Everything else in the bathroom was fine. We were able to play pool in the basement and meet nice people in the other part of the hotel. We even had snacks in the cute courtyard in front! Location was close to the beach and everything that South Beach has to offer and we had a wonderful time!!

This property was the worst property I’ve ever stayed at. The room was moldy and mildew smelling. The shower wasn’t cleaned, we had to shower with sandals on. There was water leaking from the ceiling by the AC. The front desk said they have phone issues and did not even try to fix or care about it. Walls had holes. Did not look like the pictures at all. Some switches / plugs didn’t work. The worst experience.

The property is really run down. There were pill bottles on the table in the lobby at my arrival. It's not family friendly. Maybe if you just need somewhere to stay for a night. My run wasn't available after paying for it. The guy at the front desk was helpful and refunded my money. I wouldn't have stayed there with my family anyway. The location is decent.
