Little touches meant a lot!
I was pleasantly surprised with the thoughtfulness of the front desk staff, In particularly Avona texting us about our comfort and Olivia who was pleasant and patient when checking out. Even the housekeepers note with the happy face saying thank you……..that is a first time experience and we really liked it. We met two Spanish speaking kitchen staff that kept the breakfast area clean…. They gave me a chance to practice my Spanish (they have been working there for 14 years). The other best part was NO CARPET , I hate carpet and consider it a joy when it don’t have one in the room ;-) !!!

I stayed at another Hampton Inn and Suites in Clearwater, and it was much cleaner and staff were nicer. The lady at front desk was wonderful, but you couldn't get a hello or even acknowledgement out of any other staff. The room was ok, but tub drain was clogged and backing up into tub again with a bunch of hair. It was disgusting and couldn't even take a bath. One of the lights in room didn't work and front door was hard to open and close for some reason. I expected much better being that we recently stayed at another Hampton in better condition, but we were in Homestead afterall.
