Single female, traveling alone, the area probably wasn’t the best. Guest room was clean, but the floors throughout were dirty. Pool was closed for 4 days. But it was cheap and close to airport And those were the two things I was looking for.

I previously stayed at this hotel under the Howard Johnson management. First time under the Holiday Inn banner. The property is a bit run down. We had to change rooms because of a non-functional AC and mouldy smell; the replacement room was ok. They do not cater for a large breakfast crowd despite the large seating room (e.g. there is one old-school, 4 slice toaster).Offerings were limited. Otherwise, I would return for the good desk service, clean rooms and abundant parking. Also to take advantage of the location and relatively lower rates.

The stuff there was great but when we first checked in there was stains on the bed and something like blood or something red on the floor so they had to change our room once they moved us to another room before we can we bring our bags in I told my guys let’s check the room out again and it was a bug crawling on the bed so we had to get moved again I was so Exhausted from the flight moving around I was more so disappointed all they offer us was free breakfast I took multiple pictures and video n will be contacting cooperation because that was terrible .

When I got there to check in, they didn’t put me in the room I booked and paid for online.( An accessible shower) . I specifically booked that room for my grandmother. Not even two minutes in the room and my son spotted roaches crawling under the table. They did move my room but it was overall not a good experience. That hotel needs some deep cleaning because the carpets in the hallway and room was dirty ! The pool wasn’t operable. It worked for the two nights I was in town but I wouldn’t stay there again!

We stayed for 2 nights before our cruise. I tried to call many times and couldn’t get through. I was trying to update them on our arrival as there was some delays while driving from 15 hours away. I had to call the IHG customer service number to get someone. Other than that the hotel and room were nice and we for the most part enjoyed our stay.
