There was an unfortunate hiccup with the check-in progress where our room keys did not work and had to go back to the lobby. Otherwise our overall experience here was nice and the staff were all personable. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was clean but pretty tiny. The breakfast area did not have a lot of places to sit and the pool area needs some renovating. However, for the price I paid I think it was a good value.

I had a room with 2 queen beds but the second night i went to place my food on the counter and there were small bugs all around. I went to tell the front desk and they gave me a room with 1 king bed and the shower water never fully shut off. We were placed beside a family with a kit that cried just like a dog for 4 hours strait. But the great thing about this place was the restaurant on the main floor

I booked a king room and got a double room instead. Also the bathroom is very small where the door hits the toilet when you open it. The room is big and could have easily made bathroom bigger. Place was fine to stay in but not the most updsted hotel and the breakfast wasnt great. If you wanted more than grits, cereal or bread you had to pay for like omelets or more.

The old gal has been around since 1947 so don't expect it not to show wear and tear. But you will find that the staff is friendly and willing to please. Elevators work well so you won't wait long. Perfect access to the ocean. Pool is great. Hotel and rooms are CLEAN but well used. Breakfast is OK but if you want something hot it cost extra. Use the valet parking next door at the Monte Carlo as there is no parking at the hotel, $30 per day and the guys are supper efficient and your car is well cared for. The restaurant attached to the hotel has great food but like anything in Miami it's not cheap. Worth the price and you will get more than you can eat. So, think about sharing a plate. Plenty of chain food within walking distance including a Star Bucks, Pizza Hut, Subway, GF Burger, plus an Italian Restaurant. Publix supermarket is also within walking distance. If you want 4 star living quarters than you will be disappointed. But if you want 5-star service, a clean place to sleep, food close by, great access to the beach and a pool, then she's the place to stay. Remember you came there for the ocean not to sit in your room. Also, they have some pool tables, fuse ball table, and ping pong. They also have a piano that everyone tried playing even if they could not play it properly.

Está muy bonito el hotel pero el desayuno solo tienen pan y café y jamón no tiene parqueo tienes que pagar en otro lado por día y si te parqueas más te vena tu carro y pagas más de $500 dólares para sacarlo eso me pasó a mí se llevaron mi carro por estacionarlo mal mejor agarren un hotel con parqueo y un buen desayuno porque este hotel tiene desayuno incluido pero no vale la pena.

The hotel was the oldest and with 1 elevator. Totally not worth it for booking a half beach view. It had only one door at the corner of the room slightly beach visibility they were considering as partial beach view. I won’t consider that as beach view at all and the breakfast had nothing.

Our stay was generally pleasant. The highlight was the breathtaking ocean view from our balcony, which was truly spectacular. Most of the staff members were attentive and helpful, contributing positively to our experience. However, there are areas where improvements could elevate this hotel to world-class status: Pros: • Stunning ocean view from the balcony • Majority of staff were helpful and courteous Cons: • Aging infrastructure, particularly the elevators and overall building structure • Inconsistent functionality of room key cards (though front desk assistance was available) • A few staff members appeared unwelcoming • Breakfast offerings require enhancement
