The hotel has a very relaxing and soothing feel. The numerous plants and water fountains adds a certain calmness upon entering. The pool on the roof top is the perfect way to start your day and the bar is the way to end it. The staff is very friendly. We spent 5 nights and were very pleased. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to get away for a few days.

This iconic hotel has a lot of charm and personality. The common areas, the lobby, the outdoor courtyard, and the restaurant are well-appointed and have a welcoming nostalgic feel that brings the outdoors in. The room we had however was extremely dark and heavy. The patio/balcony was full of foliage which prevented any natural light from entering the room which was made even dimmer by the very dark wall paint choices. Unfortunately the heaviness of all these elements made it feel dated and dank. I would however recommend the restaurant/bar! As wonderful as the cocktails and small bites were, the bartender, Jose was even more wonderful! He was personable and created a fun atmosphere.

Very mixed experience. We tried to make the best of our stay, but we have run into a few showstopping issues We were forced to pay a heavy amount of money upon arrival as a security deposit, which will cause additional surcharges onto the credit card used. Room service was non-existent. Had to address the issue 3-4 times during the stay. Cheap products and bath towels caused skin irritation. Uncomfortable toilet and bathtub - no shower curtain or glass pane, difficult to step into the tub. Unnecessarily wasteful small water cartons. The TV had poor tech setup. Intentionally blocked Netflix and YouTube apps. Chromecast was not working properly. Excessive microwave exposure in the room, too many nearby devices. We loved the patio and outdoor shower. AC was working very well and renovations were in excellent condition. Staff were friendly. Thank you

Overall, my stay was good. Housekeeping could use some improvement when it comes to efficiency and communication. There were three separate times during my stay that towels and wash cloths weren’t replaced and two instances where sheets weren’t changed. One day I waited two hours just to get wash cloths after spending hours in the sun at the rooftop pool. The staff is kind, but their timeliness needs major improvement. There was also a rude staff member who tried to scold me for taking a photo in one of the lounge areas before I told him that I’m staying at the hotel and celebrating my graduation. This is such a fun, funky hotel. The property is engaging and the grounds are beautiful. We loved the room and were very comfortable. The only negatives I can share are the prices on the mini bar were ridiculous and the shower in the bathroom is very difficult to manage. It felt extremely unsafe.
