Worst customer service ever.
Front desk staff were rude. The room was okay, close to JFK but the shuttle service never arrived and front desk never picked up the phone when I called to enquire. Had to take uber to the hotel. Will never stay here again.

The carpet smelled like someone peed on it (or maybe a wet dirty dog). When we asked about the ice machine The gal behind the desk asked us to help her out and go next door to Burger king and get some. The web site said the shuttle to the airport ran every half hour and it was only every hour.

We were in town to help a relative and needed a hotel near JFK for an early flight. Five Towns was one of the best prices we could find. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the 24/7 shuttle service. We took the 4:00 AM shuttle. Make sure you sign up for the shuttle when you first check in, because they do fill up.

The room was very good but the shuttle was too full and all children had to sit on top of their parents and so did a couple. That was not safe. Yet we had to reserve the shuttle the night before. There should be more than one shuttle, especially when it’s one per hour

Tired hotel
The hotel rooms in this hotel are tired and everything needs to be replaced. It appears they have tried to keep it clean but the carpets in the rooms have holes and are not clean anymore. The furniture is old and nicked. The bathroom has old fixtures. The halls have new carpet and they have been recently painted so maybe they are in the process of a remodel. If you are hungry the only thing close by you can walk to is a Burger King and a fast food chicken restaurant. No dining in hotel except the usually self serve very limited breakfast (basic toast and coffee and orange juice). The staff was pleasant.

I love the experience here. I will repeat again in NY. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was nice and attentive. Good breakfast. For two stars hotels is very cute, plenty of space and clean. The airport shuttle attived in less of 5 minutes in my layover. They provide me another aiport shuttle for my next trip in the airport. Its a litte bit over price but the experience was good.

Main reason for stay was ease of getting to JFK after late arrival & early departure the next morning. Appreciated that they had breakfast out early since many staying needed the 6 a.m. airport shuttle. Had time for coffee & pastry before leaving!
