Enjoy the sunrise reflecting over the rolling ocean waves while you sip your beverage with the scent of salt water from one of two balconies at this beautiful, waterfront cottage.

Take a quick walk to the wharf to view the Abbotts Harbour lighthouse, explore the South Shore's white sand beaches, oceanside walking trails and freshly caught seafood just a short drive away, and then retreat to this peaceful and bright home away from home to rest your mind and body with the sounds of the sea.

This property boasts natural sunlight with views of the ocean from each room. It enters from the spacious main level deck where guests are welcome to use the grill and enjoy a meal with family and friends. Also, a great stop for business if needing some peace and quiet along your travels.

The main level enters into the open, fully stocked kitchen and dining area. The full bath is to your left which includes basic toiletries. The living area with queen size pullout is located to the right with a flat screen TV with Chromecast and WIFI for entertainment purposes. This space may also be used as an office or reading area.

The upper level displays panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and soaks in hues of sunlight all day long. The sunrise over the water from the upper deck will wash your worries away. Wake up to the trees blowing from side to side from cathedral windows. There is plenty of space for activity on this level as well as outdoors in the yard including play, yoga, meditation, exercise, a quiet space for work, writing or journaling. Whatever floats your boat!

The view from the upstairs bedroom was fantastic. The two decks were very good. The main floor was small once the tv room was used as a bedroom with the pullout sofa.

So Very Peaceful
This is a very quaint and cute property with a wonderful view of the water and a small fishing dock. I booked this rental for my wife and I to get away and see southern Nova Scotia. The house was absolutely wonderful and larger than we had expected. It's completely serene and the perfect place to get away, rest and recover as well as a great jump off location to visit Yarmouth, Cape Forchu Lighthouse, Digby for some scallops and the rest of the southern part of Nova Scotia. When we first arrived we had a slight communication issue with getting check in and check out instructions but the property manager was very quick to respond to my emails and we were back on track in just a few minutes. The upstairs (master bedroom) is very nice and has a large deck outside to relax on as well. There is no air conditioning, but the house is situated so close to the water that we simply opened up a few downstairs windows and the sliding door in the master bedroom upstairs and the house cooled down greatly in just a short time. The only bathroom is downstairs so be careful if you are coming down in the night. The kitchen is fully stocked and has modern appliances so you can do some real cooking if you like. We had hoped to see some Aurora lights while we were there but ended up blessed with very foggy nights that were still very cool.
