General Manager was extremely rude, messed up our reservation and we had to sleep 3 people in 1 bed. Refrigerator didn’t work and all key cards failed and had to get new ones. I am a Hampton Inn advocate, but NOT in Middlebury, IN

I felt sorry for the guy running the front he was left alone on his second day on the job, did not know where extra room supplies were he did the best he could, but Hampton could do a better job supporting their staff. Cleaning staff needs to vacuum under the cushions of chairs in the room not to pleasant to find old food under the cushions and they need to be aware of walls around toilet not to pleasant to see splatter from someone before getting sick

Our room was next to an elevator which was very loud you could hear people coming in and out.. they ran out of eggs and bacon and the breakfast stunk the second day we were there really wouldn't much to offer other than that I'd say it was okay breakfast on the thiday no second day

After spending $200.00. For 2 night stay non refundable. They canceled my reservation. I tried to contact them to let them know that we would not be there the first night but could not reach anyone. When we arrived on Tuesday the clerk told me they canceled my reservation. The clerk said I was out of luck because I booked through party. She was not very understanding and said the only room the had was $ 179. I am beyond disappointed with the staff at Hampton Inn in Middleberry, Ind.

The staff was friendly, at least most of them. Amanda was great, she was always willing to help us & with a big smile. We didn't like the TV & always having to push the input button, then go over to HMI 1 to make it work everytime. The beds were comfortable, room was big, bathroom was average. Didn't like that they only came in once every other day to give you fresh towels and empty the trash, but never vacuumed the carpet, which it needed & didn't even make the beds. We probably won't be back, too far from Shipshewana. If you needed to take something back to the room, it was too far to keeping running back and forth, especially if we needed to take something to the fridge.
