I walked into the room and walked right back out. It smelled like dog. Check in was with a computer. No in person front desk person. Called and could not get a hold of anyone. Had to go back to the machine thing to get a refund. Do not go here.

No person to greet you or check out. Kiosk remote check-in and no check out instructions. There was someone there bringing out the complimentary breakfast but that room smelled musty. Mattress was old and had sunken body areas. Needs replaced.

We were greeted by a customer service kiosk for our check in at 8pm. She was televised from home, which I had never experienced and efficient.

This was a very basic experience. I didn’t care for check in being done via a video screen on a machine instead of a real person. Although the staff on the video screen was nice and helpful, I prefer working with a person on site.

The pictures were not accurate for this location. In person it looks like a run down, roach motel. I paid $400 for two rooms and these rooms were not worth this price. Both rooms smelt of rotten eggs and one room had damage from where the door had been kicked in. The breakfast was horrible and staff complained of him being 1 of 2 employees. I do not recommend anyone booking this hotel for $200 per night. At best, it’s work $50.

Property exceeded my expectations which weren’t high considering it’s a motel. Check in via kiosk was super easy and efficient, I’ll take that over a slow check in person any day. Room was clean and ample space with 3 whole beds plus a sofa in the “family room.” Bathroom was tiny, but water was good, two sinks also. Area around the hotel was very quaint and cute. Motel had a playground for the kids! Couldn’t ask for better in this very desolate part of South Dakota.

Not up to standard for Best Western or cost
This hotel is not up to Best Western normal standard - it is a low grade motel with the name attached. Remote check-in which was not helpful and slightly disconcerting (especially if you're traveling alone) to see no-one else there. Plan to send a review to Best Western directly as well. Breakfast barely OK

This was a nice place to stop for one night while we were on the road for a long time. Check in had a kiosk only. The room was small and clean. It was outdated but did the job for one night. The town and area around it felt like a ghost town which felt a little unsettling so we locked the doors and stayed safely indoors at night. Breakfast was good.

Stay in Murdo SD
Room was very clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Hot water and good water pressure. Offered a good variety at breakfast. The check in was virtual at a kiosk. That was OK, but there was a lot of buffering, so it was hard to understand. We did have an issue with the key card, but an attendant corrected immediately and was very friendly. It's a basic room, but very comfortable and reasonably priced. Would recommend.
