This was an ideal European hotel. Awkward entrance, tiny elevator, tiny room, and tiny bathroom space. I stand at 5’10” and about 200lbs, and had struggle fitting and maneuvering in the shower. The shower was tiny. Plus there’s no space to place personal items (soap, deodorant, toothbrush, lotions) anywhere. The staff were nice, but they’re only available during daytime hours. We stayed two nights, which was enough. The stay wasn’t bad, but the furniture, and amenities are noticeably old, worn out and vintage.

Slightly dated property in a great neighborhood with friendly staff. Great value. Room and bathroom were spacious. Bed was comfortable. Room was quiet. Would stay here again.

The room was excellent. Very clean, bed was very comfortable. However, what was absolutely unacceptable was the fact that the bathroom was in another room. This was extremely inconvenient. I would not go back for this reason.

Good value but then noticeably cheap hotel choice for Milan. Easy to get to via public transport. Be aware that reception closes at 9.30pm for anyone arriving late! No iron was not great for going there on a work trip. Basic but with character and definitely worthwhile if travelling on a budget.

The area where the hotel is located isn't bad, safe and green, but there's absolutely nothing to do there. I walked daily easily 10-12 km to see the sights, go to nice eating facilities and stores. The hotel itself is strikingly unattractive, with 1960 furniture, tiny uncomfortable pillows, scratchy blankets and TV with nothing but a plethora of channels in Italian. No services in the hotel( i.e. coffee shop, restaurants, kiosk), the receptionists work in my estimate about half a day, nobody at the reception before 12 pm. My plane arrived at 9 am, they didn't let come back till 3.30 pm, their checking time. I will never ever go back to this establishment!

Older hotel in nice neighborhood
The hotel is older and in a working-class neighborhood - a lot of shop, restaurants and apartments. It is a 5-minute walk from the Metro. The room was clean and spacious. The balcony overlooks a courtyard, but nothing spectacular.

This place is phenomenal! A stay here is worth your money and time. It was way more than we expected. Everything in the room felt so comfortable. The lack of breakfast or other things one could expect in hotel is not a problem at all considering the quality of our stay. The double bed is very comfortable but it’s made of two mattresses. So there can be a gap formed in the middle. Overall excellent stay!!

We stayed at Hotel Palladio for one night after traveling all day from Civitavecchia. Public transportation is a short 10-15 minute walk to the hotel. When we arrived, right before we pressed the buzzard to be let in, the front desk agent opened the door to let us in. Our check in was quick and easy, he gave us some information about sites to see, transportation and check out. When we got to our room it was really warm but we turned on the AC and our night was comfortable. The area around the hotel was quiet and there were a few places for coffee and small breakfast nearby. Also, if you've never been to Italy during the summer, there are a lot of mosquitoes, bring some spray, wipes or balm. We enjoyed our stayed overall and would recommend.
