First the check in: We were waiting in line for 45 minutes. I'm guessing they were having a problem, but it was a long time to wait. When we went to our room, it had not been cleaned. We went back to the desk and were given a new room and free breakfast for the next day. Altogether it took probably an hour and fifteen minutes to be in a room. We were late to the concert we were going to see and missed the first act. Once we were there, the second room was clean and comfortable, although my sheets had an artificial berry smell of some sort which I didn't like. The rooms are dated, but fine.

We checked in late Friday night. When we got up to our room, the keys didn’t work. We went back down to get new keys. After getting back up to the 14th floor, the keys again weren’t working. We finally got one to work. When we got in we noticed the beds probably were not queen size and felt more like full sized. The room was spacious otherwise. The next morning we enjoyed the Starbucks on site. Our keys again weren’t working. Back to the front desk for new ones. A new crew was working the desk so I explained to the woman this would be our 3rd set of keys. She seemed annoyed with me and ask me how I was using the keys. It was a busy morning so I gave her the benefit of the doubt but felt like she was being condescending. I brought the new keys up and still not working. A family member was inside. I called down to the front desk to explain the keys were still not working. They said they would send someone up ASAP. We kept the door open to be able to hear for someone. After 30 minutes we finally heard jangling keys. It was a staff member from housekeeping. He said he was not sent but tried our keys and confirmed something was wrong on the FIRST sign of a problem unlike the front desk. After trying his universal key and that not working he determined the battery in the door must be out. He called someone from maintenance who was there in 2 minutes and fixed in 3. Leading me to believe the front desk either didn’t call or didn’t care. Probably won’t stay again

The room was fantastic. Wasn't allowed to assign my Hilton Honors number for credit on incidental purchases. I would have spent more on property. Was told to use vending machines for late night snack - when snack would not fall I was told to call the number on the machine - it was voice mail - I never heard back... Just little things that sour the night.

I was unable to arrive in time due to a flight cancellation. Expedia said I needed to contact Hilton. Front desk did not answer. Neither did they answer when the Hilton Honors desk called them. When I finally got through the next morning to attempt to cancel, they said Expedia would need to call with the request. When imfinally figured out how to bypass Expedia's "call thenhotel" prompts, they agreed to call. They were finally able to reach someone after a couple of attempts. Any refund was refused becausenImwas a no show android not contact the hotel. The very definition of a doom loop.

The stay was amazing. Starbucks inside the hotel was a let down by opening 1 1/2 hours late and then being limited by staff. Parking rates are very high and should be included in the package price. Other than those two issues it was perfect.

High Class at a price
The location is perfect for walking around downtown. The staff from being greeted at the front door to coming across house keeping by chance was always a wonderful experience. The building and room design is older than the other more modern properties in the area. This means that there isn't a microwave of mini-fridge like a lower cost property would have.

Our stay was average. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived and we ended up not getting the room we pre-reserved. The location was good and the lobby was beautiful. As for the room... the beds were tiny - they definitely could have fit queen beds in the room. And the bathroom needed a deep clean - the grout in the shower and around the shower bars was black in places. We’re budget travelers so we got what we paid for, but overall I expected a better experience from a Hilton.

Quick get away.
The hotel was gorgeous!! The Miller Time Pub was so fun. The two dogs running around were so friendly. We will stay here again. Lots to do around the hotel.
