Not as clean as expected. Housekeeping came in the first day and made the bed but did not vacuum or clean the bathroom. Soap dish empty as was shower pump. No top sheet on bed only heavy comforter. Not ideal in summer. All was taken care of when they first asked how my stay was going. First impressions are key!

Wonderful old hotel!
Staff was marvelous about changing our room when the one we were assigned was not a handicap room. I gave a score 4 for comfort as chairs in the room were difficult for handicapped person to get out of. Loved the hotel would definitely stay again.

We love staying at the Pfister when we travel to Milwaukee! The pool is a must with little ones. Location is great, and the parking ramp is so convenient and easy to use. 10/10!

The staff was exceptional. From the valet guy answering questions, even though I wasn't using valet, to the front desk clerks, cleaning people, etc. All very friendly and helpful. The king bed was not pillow top comfortable and the blackout curtains were too short and had spaces so it didn't black out the room, very hard to sleep.

Chose to spend our 25th anniversary at this hotel and upon check in, was not told about the construction outside our window. Got a wake up call at 7am with the jackhammer! Very poor communication. If they knew, and communicated with us I would’ve asked to be on the opposite side.

We were so excited about this stay. Sadly disappointed. Our room was dirty when we checked in. Dirty sheets, bed unmade. Dirty towels were on the floor. The room had clearly not been cleaned from the last guest. When calling the front desk they said there was nothing they can do at all. It was at capacity. We found some maids and asked for bedding and towels. This is unacceptable at this price point and we don’t travel often. So sad and disappointed. The food was forgotten for room service and when we finally got it it was half wrong. The hotel itself was gorgeous and the maid was friendly but other than this I would never stay or recxomend again. Very sad.
