Ok apart from uncomfitable bed
We came for a party and stayed the night in a family room with double bed and bunk bed. The bathroom was lovely and newly renavated. The bedroom was dated but clean and plenty space for 4 The bunk bed mattresses were thick and comfortable. Our double bed mattress was so uncomfortable it had sunk in the middle and could feel springs so we did not have a good sleep Party room was lovely and food was nice

There was humidity throughout the room from the shower. The bathroom floors wouldn't dry and even the window next to our bed always had condensation, not from the weather but from the shower. The towels never dried. The breakfast was good but dinner food wasn't very good. The staff was friendly.

Basic room but good breakfast!
Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Breakfast times etc were explained to us and they brought an iron to our room on request. We were at rear of hotel (dog friendly room) and one of the mattresses was sunk in the middle (as if the springs had broken) Room was outdated but ok for a base for the night. Breakfast was self service and there was plenty of choice. It was the breakfast that made the stay enjoyable!

Basic business hotel, its clean and works though some people might find coach parties bit off putting (but they are kept separate). Loud noise of peacocks and cockerels in early hours (not a problem for me) reminds me of home, but absence of reliable newspaper supplier in surroundings is an issue.
