Loved the old-school decor & history behind restaurant. Staff was nice & accommodating. Parking was easy & had in/out privilege. Definitely would stay here again if I come back to Minneapolis.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Milk & cookies at bedtime were a nice surprise. Pool area is gorgeous! It was nice that there was a bar & restaurant on the premises with room service as an option as well. Parking was affordable and simple. The hotel is within walking distance of many local restaurant, bars, & concert venues.

This was our second stay at The Normandy. It's got a cozy atmosphere and front desk staff is friendly and helpful. It's within walking distance to many event venues. Great restaurant's in the neighborhood as well.

Stayed here for a Metallica concert so it was busy. Check-in was a long wait but our rooms were decent. Great shower pressure and comfortable beds. Little irritated that they double the price for a concert night.

This was a traditional hotel with historic features. Our room was big, and offered us all the room we needed. The on-site restaurant had good service and some unique offerings. We particularly enjoyed having milk and cookies served at around 10 PM. The shuttle service to various downtown Minneapolis events Was very helpful, and prompt whenever we used it. We would definitely recommend this hotel for any downtown Minneapolis stays.

It took over an hour to check in. It was as if they had not anticipated a sold out crowd at US Bank. Check in was ridiculously slow and when someone complained about it the smart mouth guy working said he would be more than happy to cancel their reservation. Insanely slow check in and a rude attitude is a horrible combination.

Great option for downtown. It was really nice having affordable parking. The rooms was clean and ac worked really well for the summer.

Fantastic retro hotel in downtown Minneapolis
The Best Western Normandy is a gem! A retro hotel but with current day comforts. Very accommodating and pleasant front desk staff. The attached Normandy Kitchen restaurant is a gem!

Staff was welcoming when we checked in. There were issues with the parking lot and the staff took care of the issue right away. Will stay here again!
