Trying to find the parking was terrible. I even called the hotel desk and he reported it was on Hawthorne. It was actually off 11th street. The front desk person was outside on his phone complaining about how busy he was going to be. The parking was terrible and I was told if there was not any parking, I would have to find somewhere else to park. Well when I booked the hotel it mentioned valet parking and on-site parking. The last parking spot open we had to squeeze into bc the other car was way over and we drive a regular sized car. The room was clean however, the radiator was so loud and kept waking us up all night. I tried to just shut off but room got so warm. I don’t normally leave comments because I used to manage a hotel front desk and realize how tough it can be. However, the amount I paid for this hotel reporting they had valet and on-site parking is why I chose it.

The service has been excellent. Ashlee, Carlos and Tommy have been extremely helpful on our first night here. Really outstanding. I’m very impressed with the staff overall, size of the rooms and the cleanliness of everything. The breakfast however was mediocre. Thank you Ashlee, Carlos and Tommy for starting our stay out right.

I’ve never had an issue with Marriott properties and this was no different. Wanted something downtown within walking distance of Target Field and downtown restaurants, and this certainly fit the bill. Took about 10 min to walk to target field. Hotel was clean, AC worked, shower water pressure was good, breakfast was good (albeit a bit crowded with people). I’d stay here again if I’m in Minneapolis.

This was an extremely busy day for the hotel as there was a concert in town at the Target Field. The two men at the front desk were so calm and comforting! They were also friendly and efficient! Super impressed with the staff!

The front desk staff were helpful & friendly. It was very clean & quiet. The location was perfect for us as we were going to a concert at the target center. Parking was easy, finding dinner options was easy, it made our trip wonderful. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Needs parking!
Overall, the hotel is very nice and in great shape. The parking was the biggest headache. We were told at check-in that the only parking was across the street and it was $18 per night. The kiosk said $15 for 24 hrs. When we paid online, it was a special event price of $16.95. The problem was that the special event pricing ended after 12 hours instead of 24. I got a text at 5:30am that I needed to be out of my spot in 15 mins or it would be towed. Ended up adding 12 more hours for $7.50. Besides the parking, we loved the location close to the stadium! It’s a very easy 5-10 min walk.

The rooms are clean and bedding was nice. Breakfast area was clean. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. Air conditioning worked well. The rooms had a space for you bag, but not a luggage rack. One of us had to use the floor. THE PARKING LOT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND RIGHT NEXT A HOMELESS SHELTER. Sometimes the lot war nearly full and we had to park in the back of the lot near the shelter where many unhoused people were loitering at all hours of the night. Housekeeper left a note with a bullet point list of every task she performed in our room while we were gone which we found strange. The first night, we were put in a wheelchair accessible room. My husband is 6'5" so the bed was very low for him and hard to get in and out of, and the closet was lower so I couldn't hang my dresses. We requested a different room and they kindly moved us the next night. Breakfast was mediocre. The last day the lid to the oatmeal somehow was bent and fell inside the pot. The oatmeal dried out, and it was the only food option for me (other than fruit) because I can't eat gluten, eggs, or dairy. There was no almond or oat milk available at breakfast or for purchase at the hotel.

Staff was very friendly. The location was very convenient to get to the events we were in town for. Was not impressed with the parking. We stayed Friday-Monday and no one came and cleaned the room or atleast asked if we needed fresh towels, garbage removed… could have been way better.
