This hotel is in the top five worst hotel stays in my 40 yea red s of traveling. Just a few of the issues are Paper thin walls , bad smell in the bathroom , the light is part of the fan and it is super load

Bad excuse for a hotel.
This was my first stay at a Sonesta Essential and my last. There was no shower curtain. The window curtains were missing hooks and half hanging. We had to hold the curtains together with the clips form the clothes hangers. The deadbolt didn't work at all. Wasn't even lined up with the door frame. After closing the door, we could just push it open so apparently the other lock wasn't working either. We went down for breakfast at 8 AM. There was a few eggs and one piece of sausage left. NO ONE bothered to refill. Everyone was eating waffles, the only item left to eat. Sorry excuse for a hotel.

The property itself was good and so was the service. The only minor issues were the location is bad during high traffic hours and the internet service crashed while we were there. We were lucky that our payment processed early, other guests couldn’t check out on time due to the crash.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and had service once and that was only because we found housekeeping and asked for it on day 4. We needed to call the front desk for clean towels and they didn't arrive until the next day after we talked to housekeeping. We had to empty the garbage ourselves and put it in the hall, where it sat until the next morning. The table in the hall by the elevators had so much dust you could write your name and the floors in the breakfast area were a sticky mess which carried back up to your room on your shoes so the floors there were sticky too. We listened to the front desk and housekeeping staff complain about being stressed because they had to check people in and people were leaving garbage in the hall (we were not the only ones to do this) but they still found time to go outside and smoke or sit on their phones. Breakfast was okay but offered the same thing every day. They only had 2 flavors of yogurt, strawberry and strawberry banana and zero fruit. The place could use a good deep clean and staff that understood customer service. Would not stay here again.

Highly recommend this property. It was quiet, conveniently located, and affordable. Breakfast options were reasonable. Overall clean property. There was an issue with our key cards not working when we checked in. The front desk attendant resolved it by giving us a new room. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, competent staff needed.
Room was not ready when we arrived at 5:30pm. Front desk agent was rude and not cooperative. Did not let us know we had to request our room be cleaned.. we asked for him to have extra towels and such for us when you returned after being gone for the evening and that was not done.

We were disappointed that we booked an accessible room, and it showed online that we would have a walk in shower. When we got to the room. Discovered it had a bath tub. We asked to be moved but then would have had to go down in bed size, so decided to try to work around having a bathtub to keep the larger bed. The free breakfast helped, actual real bacon, sausage and eggs were amazing, as well as the cappuccino machine was excellent. Manager Samantha did try to help us with the few small complaints we had with the bathtub/shower mix up as well as a few small issues with room. Overall a decent hotel and would return.

If your conern is solely aesthetics, this is for you. First noticed it was quite warm in the hallways (72-74° ish) and also in my room (#300) with the heat on. Never been to a hotel that the halls and room so warm, Having "well its North Dakota" as a reason is not a good respnse. I'm a Native Minoteer, have visited in Feb(coldest of the seasons) and the Hotel i stayed in was at good hotel comfort level, and the room still running cool. Having your facility running at higher temps will result in airbourne illness, and respiratory issues or distress (due to lower oxygen levels w/ warmer temps). It was also uncomfortable in the room because the fan on the air unit was not working properly, it barely was moving air no metter what level setting it was on. The hot tub was out of service, 1 of the main reasons chose it (no notice on the website it was out). 2nd reason was the continental breakfast. Friday morning was good, simple selections, plenty choices; However, Sat morning @ 7:45am (opened @7), no fruit, no yougut, no milk, dont think I saw cereal, low on plastic spoons, coffee was cold; so either forgot to put them out, or completely out of product. Toilet paper was just that, thin paper, i suggest contacting airport and get what they use, much better. Very low water pressure in shower, so hope you dont have thick hair. Although the shower sliding doors were sheik, they along with a safety bar in a good spot, not alot of room to move to turn around (and I'm a small person)
