It was disappointing. When we checked in it took a few minutes for someone to appear behind the desk to check us in. The staff member was not at all friendly and said very few words. The room was ok but when you looked closely the floors were not at all clean. the bathtub and toilet need to be updated, they are in rough shape. The trains coming by sounded like they were in our room when the whistles blew all night. The final straw was at check out when I wanted to use a credit card other than the one that held the reservation and it had already been charged. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

Walls are cinderblocks, bathroom was in slight disrepair. No view, some outside sounds but for the price it was super close to the University and two coffee places very close. Short drive to downtown Missoula. AC worked well, beds weren’t super comfortable but the price was right.

It's quaint that Missoula still has freight trains that run through town. What isn't quaint is this hotel is right next to the train tracks and every train that runs through town has to blow it's air horn while going through town. Prepare to be woken up at least once an hour if you stay here. Also, the property is very run down. They've tried to dress it up a little, but haven't done a very good job. Don't recommend going barefoot on the laminate floors either, it's very clear that they don't clean them between guests. There were hairs all over my floor and the bottoms of my feet got black from walking barefoot in the room.

My daughter and I stayed for the weekend to attend a concert at the Adams Center which was just a short walk over the bridge! The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was old, the hot and cold were opposite and it smelled like dirty mop water. Otherwise, clean enough and mostly quiet. Nothing special and served its function.

The place was very close to the train tracks and woke us up a lot throughout the night. The trim in the room was falling apart, the bathtub was gross so we never used it. The toilet would run constantly and was load we had to leave the TV and the fan going all night to try and drown out the noise. The door didn't close all of the way either. Did not feel safe at all.

I usually do not leave reviews, but since I was charged twice by Travelodge, I decided to go ahead on this one. One pays cheap, one gets cheap. As simple as that. Sketchy hotel in a sketchy part of town. Really noisy. Room was basic; bed was fine. Bathroom door did not close and a ceiling tile inn the bathroom was about to fall off. Toilet ran all day long. The two guys at the front desk were not very personable. Also, Expedia misrepresented this hotel. So it is not all Travelodge's fault (apart for double charging credit card).
