Casa Teresa, recently renovated, is the ideal solution both for a leisure stay and for remote working. It is located in the ancient neighbourhood of Modica called “Cartellone” and enjoys an incredible view over Duomo di San Pietro and the old town.
The entrance opens to a small open plan kitchen, well-equipped and fitted also with modern electronic appliances and a breakfast bar with panoramic view.
From the kitchen, two steps lead to the living area with a comfortable leather sofa, a dining table with four chairs, a TV and a window with a panoramic balcony equipped with a small table and two chairs. From the living room, through four steps, guests will access the first bedroom with a queen size bed, two windows with a view, a skylight and a private bathroom with a shower. Next to it, there is another bedroom with twin beds, a wardrobe, a small window and a fantastic skylight. Another bathroom with a shower and a skylight completes the apartment.
At guests’ disposal there are comforts such as free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating.

City of neolithic origins, Modica is a Sicilian town included since 2002 in the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites for its masterpieces. Characterized by the presence of “dry stone walls”, the prevailing style of its monuments is the late baroque, and in this regard it is possible to admire the mother church of the city of Modica: the sumptuous Duomo of San Giorgio, a symbol of Sicilian Baroque. Not far away, the city Museo della Memoria hosts unseen relics from the Second World War. The city of Modica is also famous for the production of chocolate, it hosts in fact the Chocolate Museum with sculptures and tastings.
To visit the city on foot is the best way to discover the artistic beauties and Modica’s old town. During summer there is a mini tourist train “Trenino Barocco” (little Baroque train) that connects the lower part of the city with the upper part, departing from the Corso Umberto I, in front of Duomo di San Pietro.
Casa Teresa is located in a pedestrian area: is reachable on foot from Corso Umberto I, in front of Duomo di San Pietro, through some stairs, or walking down Strada Campailla till the end where there is a staircase leading to the apartment.
Alternatively, guests can drive until the end of Via Liceo Convitto where they can park and then reach the apartment on foot, around 100 m away.
The airport Comiso Pio La Torre is reachable with a 45-minutes drive while Catania-Fontanarossa with a 90-minutes drive.
