The Maxwell House is a hotel with a lot of history. It's location is ideal if you ride the train or even drive and park while visiting Glenwood. Restaurants, pubs, pool and shops are all within walking distance. The hotel has recently been updated while still keeping the historic ambience. Since it is old there are a few things to know, no electrical outlets in the bathroom and several rooms have no exterior windows. Bedding is extremely comfortable. The hotel's location couldn't be more perfect.

Beautifully remodeled historic hotel! We were able to walk to the Glenwood Hot Springs pool, many fantastic restaurants and Doc Holliday’s grave. Customer service was great! The little coffee shop was delicious and the vintage clothing shop had some fabulous items for women and babies!

Enjoyed the hotel very much. Team did good, explained about services, got us more towels and bath room amenities. Classic antiques throughout gives a historical backstory. Close to dining and hot springs. Coffee shop is great!

Hotel was formerly Hotel Denver. The remodel looks very nice. The attached brewery makes for easy dining options and the food is very good. Coffee shop inside the hotel has a good mix of choices. Hotel is in the heart of GWS and easily walkable.
