The rooms were not very clean. Tub was dirty. Dirty foot prints on the side of the tub where it looks like someone stood to hang the shower curtain. Bar of soap was dirty underneath. Chairs in the room were dirty and disgusting. The television in the bedroom didn't work. We were going to stay despite everything but then we learned that a three guests in different rooms at the Thriftlodge found bed bugs. We packed up and left that night. When checking out we asked if we could at least have a discount and we were denied. Took payment with no regards to guest. I will be sharing my experience with everyone I know. Not a good experience at all!

Ask questions!
Where do I start! The power button for the remote did not work. No big deal, but we had to stand on the bed to adjust the volume bc of the box being so high. Nice to have a heater in the bathroom, but it was rusty. The tub had a ring of dirt, had a shower and half the water went down the drain. They can use good old fashioned soap and water to clean the surfaces as there was a sticky film on the counter. The toilet would not flush. I told the maintenance guy and he said no it’s fine, well at 9am the next day let’s just say I went to the desk and said if it is not working when we, four people, get back , I will get a refund and leave. It was fixed. The juice was warm , the milk had a funny taste my daughter said, we went to Tim’s. Garbage outside . I was going to ask for a discount but I told the nice receptionist that I rather they use the money to paint, and get a new doorknob for the bathroom and paint the rust. My sister, who cleans rooms , could not get over the way they made the bed, although that didn’t bother me . The bed was clean and comfy though. Nice new floor, nice size of a room. The pool was in another building, and only opened until 9 NB time . I have to check to see if that was written on here. I will definitely not be staying there again. The girls were nice , but management definitely need their eyes checked.
I told the receptionist to ask the cleaners to get a good cleaning product.
Buy some paint.
This really bothered my sister , who cleans at a hotel.

I have stayed in dozens of hotels in my lifetime. This was by far the worst. We were booked to stay for 2 nights but only stayed for 1. My family and I were unhappy about a few things (no one at the front desk or anywhere to be found when we needed assistance.....the pool being inaccessible during hours of operation.....and a used bar of soap and shampoo in the shower) but when the mouse came into our room that ended our stay. We immediately packed up, returned our room key and left without being reimbursed for the night we didn't stay.

If it's a member of the Wyndham brand it certainly isn't living up to what Wyndham represents. I am still itching from the bed bugs.

We stayed 2 full months and tried to get housekeeping a few times within the first week it took three weeks for them to even come to change the bedding which looked like it had not been washed had hair and what looked like lip stick on the sheets. Its infested with bed bugs and ants Outside along the buildings and in the parking lots are full of garbage and glass from a car window being smashed during our stay no staff cleaned the glass up. Wifi hardly worked Only thjng they got going for them the woman who works the front desk is very friendly and welcoming
