Amazing rental house with beautiful views
We had an amazing five day stay at this house in August. The view and proximity to the lake was amazing. We went multiple times a day! We also enjoyed dining on the deck and enjoying a fire at sunset. This house is a gem and we can not wait to return! We have two young children and this house had everything that we needed. This rental made vacationing so easy.

Absolute Heaven
My family had an amazing week at Kayla and Gregg’s Lake Michigan cottage. Plenty of space for six to sleep and laze around. Gorgeous beach for days of swimming and sand castle building. The hot tub, fire pit, multiple hammocks, and two gas grills were all put to use on our trip! Sunsets from the deck are just spectacular. My family enjoyed the seclusion of the property and how friendly the neighbors were when met on the beach. The black flies on the beach only bothered us one day out of five and Permethrin spray kept them from biting us. Fruit flies were obsessed when food was out but our family made a game of it with a bug zapper racket. Both of these are seasonal and day by day in the region anyways. Kayla has truly thought of everything and is the best host; both having provided all the little things that make a house a home, and being super quick when responding to texts or messages. My only advice for future renters is to make sure all the containers you bring to store food are air tight and to plan to make a cooler your “midwestern beverage fridge.”

Great cottage with a fantastic view and private beach
What a fabulous location. We thought the VRBO photos looked too good to be true - wrong. This house is located right on the beach with nothing to obstruct the view of the gorgeous sunsets every night. The house is very clean and well-stocked with everything you need to have a great & relaxing vacation on your private beach. The sand on the beach is like powdered sugar - no annoying stones or pebbles to scuff the bottoms of your feet. We had a great time and the hostess, Kayla, is very responsive and returns emails within minutes if you have any questions. We all loved this cottage and highly recommend it - we will rent it again!

Perfect Lake Michigan Retreat!
We couldn't have asked for a better house and host! Check in was easy! House was clean! We walked in the front door and there was our Lake. We haven't been home to Michigan in 14 years and this was beyond what we'd hoped for. Seclusion was delightful! Naps & sunsets on the deck. Kayaking into the sunset. Long walks on the beach. Plenty of supplies (towels, plates, flatware!). The hot tub was especially nice on a chilly evening. The house was bigger than the photo's even show. There was never a time that the 6 of us felt like we were on top of each other. A table big enough for all to enjoy a game together. There isn't enough that can be said in praise. Probably the biggest is that we will book again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

We had a fantastic time at this home! The house is lovely with beautiful views and in such a great, quiet location. The private beach is awesome and we also enjoyed fishing at nearby White Lake. Wonderful, relaxing stay
We were very happy with the overall ease the property offered us for the stay. We traveled with 3 children and felt very comfortable in the house. Beach towels, beach toys, beach chairs, beach umbrella, Disney channel, Netflix, kitchen supplies were all provided and easy access. We spent a lot of time on the balcony with an amazing view. The balcony has a small gate to ensure small children don't sneak off, which helped with relaxing. It is a short drive into town for groceries or a bite to eat. The beach is clean, private and the stairs are sturdy. Our stay was wonderful, we have already talked about visiting again. The house was just what we need. The balcony to relax in the mor ing with coffee or in the evening and if the kids want to be in the living room or on the beach playing....as a parent you can still keep an eye on everyone. I spoke with the owner several times via messenger, she reached out before our visit to check in about accomadations and was always quick to respond and answer any questions! Overall a great, great visit.
