It's important to get larger than standard room. It's quite small. Also do not let them put you in the back over the restaurant. One night they had a large gathering that lasted till after 1 am. I understand it's mostly Thursdays. Hotel claims it's not their retaurant yet they display their menu and your breakfast is there. Regardless you're warned.

I got a single room, it was small French single stuck against the wall and despite not being tall it was short! The room is over furnished with furniture which is disproportionate. It is hugely overpriced as I stayed 5mn walk away for a quarter of the price in a larger room.

A gem within walking distance to all major sights!
Corona D'Oro is a wonderful hotel right in the middle of things! The lobby, with an expansive, skylight, is lovely! The room was comfortable with plenty of closet / drawer space. The restaurant is full service for all meals, and the bar is fun and raucous! Concierge service by Maria Rita is unsurpassable. She is truly a delight and an excellent ambassador for Corona D'Oro!

The hotel was very accommodating when i asked to be moved as my original room faced over the bar patio area. The new room was quiet and well appointed. Id stay again as the hotel is comfortable and elegant with very welcoming and friendly front desk staff. Close to everything youd wish to visit in Bologna.

corona d oro was central to everything you need in bologna as a tourist. it was a nice hotel, clean and generally quiet. staff was generally accommodating. i would stay at corona d oro again.
