We liked the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff. When the chain in the toilet tank broke, a member of staff arrived quickly and remedied the situation. Staff are friendly and always willing to help. What we didn’t like was that it is very noisy. In the morning games are played in one of the pools with a DJ being very loud. And since it is a smaller venue, you can not escape the noise. Also we stayed in building seven since I had scheduled a room with an ocean view. On Sunday afternoon a beach party was so loud that we couldn’t get any rest. Also, our room was located on the third floor which meant 40 steps up since there are no elevators. But the rest of the entertainment was very nice. Each evening had a different show. Breakfast and lunch are buffet style with plenty of a variety of food. There are three specialty restaurants which require a reservation. One other advantage is that the resort is close to the Montego Bay airport. I’d say a less than ten minute drive. Most of the vacationers were much younger than my wife and I. And they seemed to enjoy the venue very much. So, if you like to party and are young at heart it would be an ideal place for you

The problem I was roaches in my room I reported it they said they would have the maid to spray but the very next night I had more then than before not to mention I was on the top floor next I had the maid come in while I was asleep and I had the do not disturb sign on also they wouldn’t restock my fridge with four beers and it’s all inclusive they said they only restock every other day need I say I had foot surgery so I didn’t want to do to much walking back and forth and this was a manager who came to my room and he could see my handicap scooter in the room now let’s get to checkout I told the guy at the front desk about my issue with the bugs and showed him the videos he said we will refund my money and zero the balance out and it would go back on my card 7-10 days need I say that was all a lie still haven’t seen a refund and it’s been 11 days so I do not recommend RIU to no one now I’m going to do a TikTok with the videos that I have, another issue I had was my king bed was two full size beds pushed together to make a king bed with a sheet and no cover even Motel 6 has a spread on the bed with a sheet…

The beginning was horrible. After booking this Trip online in May for Oct visit, i get there and it took 8 of us over 2 hours to check in. Not due to the lines but rather disorganized, didn't have the rooms that i selected and then they tell me they overbooked. They then promise me my room would be changed the next morning to the better one that i booked with my view, that didn't happen, i had to yet again spend more time trying to get them to figure it out. Once they claimed they had, i got to my new room keys didn't work, go back to front desk and they talking about they gave my old room to another guest, mind you my things are still in there, room hasn't been cleaned yet. The food was just ok and very repeticious so you got tired if it pretty fast. The only plus side to rhe resort is the beach, nightly entertainment show was fun, rhw bartenders were always nice and my favorite wait staff JAHMARIE was EXCELLENT , always with a smile amd brought positivity. I've experienced it once nor a place i would xome back to

Like the fact that it had lots of entertainment ,you don’t have to come off the property but if u want to , it also provides transportation outside . Staff was very helpful and friendly , entertainment staff was always a vibe . Enjoyed !

I liked the rooms was quiet and almost sound proof. They also had taxis at all times of the day/night. What I disliked is the food, not enough entertainment, some buffet workers were not attentive to my group, and the final straw was there was a roach in my room. I will not be staying at the RIU resorts again.

There was lots a good entertainment and pool parties. The beach was beautiful. Multiple staff members were rude. There was huge roach in my room in the bathroom. I was charged for $30 for damaged sheets for allegedly getting dye on them. Meanwhile, my hair isn’t dyed nor did I pack dye with me. They didn’t even produce the sheets for me to see. Food was horrible and alcohol is the worst. Bring your own alcohol if you don’t want to get sick.

I really enjoyed my stay at Riu Montego Bay I would highly recommend to my family and friends to take the experience of a resort in Jamaica. The Jamaican food was good. The staff very welcoming and nice. It wasn't a long wait for anything even though it was a lot of people there.
