AC unit was so darn loud we had to turn it off to sleep. The shutters on the window allows a ton of outdoor light to shine into the room at night, if you like a dark room for sleeping then you better bring a sleep mask.

We had the 2 bedroom classic suite, very nice, recently renovated it seems, superclean. The area is ok, but a short drive gets you to Monterey downtown. The motel is set back from a busy road and on the flightpath, but it is quiet at night so we were not affected by noise. No complaints, recommended!

the room was clean, beds comfortable, and had a fridge, microwave, & coffeemaker. the only downsides were the a/c didn't seem to work -- ran non-stop with no change in temp -- and there was only one light in the living area... no bedside lamps, which made it difficult to read at night. despite that, i would stay there again!

Doesn't look like much on the outside but the room is very nice and the owner (I assume that's who checked me in?) is so nice. Really made us feel welcome, which is awesome at a hotel.
