Quiet Tuscan Retreat
We could not have been happier with our stay here. Simonetta greeted us on arrival and was very sweet. She explained how things work and gave us a quick tour, as well as letting us know she would be available if we needed anything else. We were pleasantly surprised to find an actual queen bed instead of a futon that we thought we would be on. The bathroom had also been recently renovated. The entire cottage was very clean. The view out back is beautiful! We were able to walk into town in less then 10 minutes which was perfect. The location was very convenient for touring throughout the region, close to Siena, Volterra, San Gigminano and only an hour from the coast. Would definitely recommend!

Peaceful little hideaway
I loved my stay at Simonetta’s little place. A hidden gem. It was very relaxing and perfect for wedding I was attending in Monticiano. I walked and used public transport although Simonetta did recommend hiring a car. Simonetta and her son were very kind to assist me with my arrival and check in to make sure I found the place okay. This place is perfect for nature lovers, with a beautiful outlook. I can highly recommend. Grazie Simonetta!

Great relaxation. Beautiful Tuscan countryside. The litttle town of Monticiano is nearby with a wonderful restaurant called DaVestro. If u are looking to relax, this is the perfect place for 2.

Indimeticabile
Nelle splendide campagne toscane, un piccolo cottage in pietra, dove ci ha accolto Serenella, una simpatica e disponibile padrona di casa… Abbiamo soggiornato per tre notti, la pace e la quiete sono protagonisti di questo luogo... se siete amanti della campagna e della natura, questo è il posto ideale. Oltre a godere del giardino, molte grande e ben curato, e del barbecue nel cottage, abbiamo potuto visitare, a pochi minuti la meravigliosa Abbazia di San Galgano. Soggiorno indimenticabile, qualità/prezzo ottima.

Eine Oase im Grünen
Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und die Lage ist perfekt, um in der Natur abzuschalten. Bei den Klängen der Zikaden, Summen der Bienen und auch Ausblick in die freie Natur, kann man super gut abschalten. Der Garten ist sehr groß und gut eingezäunt. Unser Hund konnte frei spielen und viel entdecken. Eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist fünf Minuten entfernt. Die Umgebung lädt ein zu Stadtbesuchen oder auch Stränden. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Umgebung war super schön und der Garten war ein Traum für jedes Hund. Das kleine Häuschen war sehr gemütlich und hatte fast alles was man braucht. Ein Punkt Abzug war die harte Matratze die in der Mitte schon durch gelegen war. Aber alles anderes war super.

Ruhe Oase La Roggiola
5 Nächte im La Roggiola, Ruhe und Erholung pur. Sind von hieraus zu Wanderungen aufgebrochen als auch mit dem Auto die Toskana erkundet. Check-in trotz Sprachbarriere ohne Probleme, Google-Translate sei dank. Leider waren unsere Vormieter wohl nicht die genausten beim Spülen, die Sauberkeit des Geschirrs ließ zu wünschen übrig, sodass wir vorab alles neu gespült haben. Zudem sollte man Spülmittel und Toilettenpapier dabei haben, es war nur eine Rolle ToPa vorhanden und ein wenig Rest Spüli. Den Grill draußen haben wir nicht genutzt, wurde uns auch nicht erklärt, zudem war auch kein Holz etc. vorhanden. Die Lage ist wirklich schön und man hat seine Ruhe, schöner Garten mit Sitzgelegenheiten.

Well, have been in that little “House on the Prayer” was the most Wonderful experience I have ever had. Love nature and being around and in the middle of It and the landscape and just for me for 12 nights, I made that home like it was mine. Simonetta was incredible with me, I got little sink and she came to check how I was doing. She was awesome. I felt like I was at my own home. The hose is lovely. Das Haus ist klein aber fein und ist im Grunde mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Das komplett eingezäunte Grundstück war ein Traum für unseren Hund. Simonetta spricht nur italienisch, wir haben uns aber trotzdem verstanden und waren rundum zufrieden!
