Over priced for what you get. Good for families
Owner is unresponsive. The inn is well worn and walls are thin. Look elsewhere if you are a light sleeper or if you don’t want to hear the neighboring rooms.

Booked a superior 2 queen bedroom with lake view. The room had 2 full beds only, no lake view, filthy (really bad smoking smell, cobwebs on the fixtures and mouse droppings in the closet), non working thermostat, only 2 towels for 4 and noisy/leaky toilets. Plus charged 40$ over what Expedia charged during the reservation

Perfect location for a stay while doing the bike trail, le p’tit train du Nord. Beautiful location on the lake and friendly owner. Needs some updates, but they are working on that. I recommend staying here.

The owner didn’t bother to check in our group. He just told us to take different rooms and it turned out that two of our group had paid for superior rooms and been given standard rooms. our group figured it out and made the changes. Very poor first impression.

We like funky!
If you are looking for something as well kept as the Ritz, this is not the place for you, if a little funky is ok then you will love it. Great hot tub and view of the lake, lots of places to sit outside on the grass in view of the lake. Reception was very welcoming and accomodating. We had an extra person in our group, and it was NOT a problem at all... and it was directly on the bike trail!!!

This was the perfect stop on our bike trip on Le P’tit Train du Nord it’s right on the trail and right on the lake. The views are stunning, the proprietor friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable after a long day of cycling. Hot tub,sauna,pool, safe and covered bike storage all made this a great stop.

We booked a “ premium lake view room “ which was neither premium nor did it have a lake view! We were the first guests to check in for the day and I asked the owner for a room that was “ premium” and with a lake view as promised. He was arrogant, intimidating, and totally obnoxious. He said no other rooms were “ available” ( not true) and that basically I was a “ Expedia one night booking” and what did I expect? WellI I did not expect a dumpy room that faced the road. I paid top $ for the room. Then he offered me a full refund and I could go elsewhere. However, My husband and I were on a bike ride in a remote location of northern Quebec where basically only two lodgings were available and all had been booked weeks if not months ahead. I had nowhere to go !!!!! Buyer beware at this location.
