Excellent location- close to the bus and the metro. Also with a plethora of shopping and dining options nearby… even a grocery store in the underground mall area, which was incredibly useful! Hotel had staff on strike. No cleanliness for room for the stay we had. They were extremely understaffed. Saw when people were checking out there were two people cleaning for next person. Pretty sure it’s not going to cleaned properly. People who were working were so overworked and exhausted. Felt sorry for them. Hotel location is good convenient. But experience living at it wasn’t what we expected

Wonderful stay! Parking was easy. Check in was easy. Front desk staff were pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and kind. Room was so quiet and the bed extremely comfortable. Air conditioning kept the room at a steady and comfortable 64 degrees. There was no housekeeping due to the strike but the staff alerted us to that but it didn't matter because we wouldn't have used anyways. It did not impact our stay at all. Hotel is in a perfect location to experience everything that makes Montreal so wonderful. Walk out the door and you are immersed in the culture. Walking distance to the best shopping, restaurants, music, art, history, architecture as well close to the port to take in the river views. This will be our go to place when visiting Montreal.

The cleaning staff are on strike so there was no toiletries or room cleaning services for the trip. We called the front desk several times on our way to the hotel over a couple hour period and the phone rang for over 10 minutes until it would finally disconnect. The two times they actually answered, we were put on hold for over 15 minutes, for which no one ever returned and the line eventually disconnected. While in the hotel, we tried calling reception from the room phone and it rang for over 10 minutes until it disconnected. Unbelievable service for the price. Staff on strike, still full price. Plus, the customer service we did receive was not helpful and we were forced to wait for unacceptable periods. We will not be returning to Double Tree again. Many more options which would have better service for this price. Incredibly disappointing, we will be telling friends and family to avoid this chain.

Property is in a great location with lots of great attractions and shopping malls close by. There is a massive food court on the first floor. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Remember to get the free welcome chocolate chip cookies from the front desk since they are absolutely delicious!

It was lovely; and well located. Didn’t like that the wall paper was peeling off on the 10th floor. Needs a refresh. And it was a little crazy at check out time with long waits for the elevators.

The accessibility of the Hotel is perfect. Walkable to the Metro and to other tourist spots. The staff is helpful and accommodating but unfortunately there’s some staff strike going on 😳. Our room itself is ok nothing extraordinary.
