Odd vibe... Art is interesting but overstuffed. Pop music in public spaces is annoying

The staff members were kind and very receptive and were somewhat helpful. The property is in okay condition. It is dated and the lobby area is quite eclectic. If you like Peter Max art and odd art sculpture this is your kind of place. The free breakfast consisted of a cup of coffee in a paper cup, juice and a croissant every morning. The selection could not be considered "breakfast". Our room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom had been recently upgraded, however, the glass enclosure on the shower was collapsing inward and was very dangerous. We couldn't use the shower the last night of our stay. They didn't have anyone who could repair it, nor did they have any available rooms to move us. We thought they would at least give us a discount. We were told they would email us about a discount after they sent our complaint to the manager. We never received an email response or a discount. All in all, it was not a good value for the rate they charge.

No dining options available for food throughout the day. Bar service was poor, with extremely limited service

We love L’Hotel in Montreal. It is the only place we stay while visiting the city. The hotel is very clean, the staff is always helpful, and it’s a short walk to Old Montreal.

Clean and comfortable room. The hotel has attractive quirky decor and is in a great location for visiting old Montreal. No restaurant or snacks available and breakfast very basic and served on paper plates. First day we were surprised to discover the bar did not stock wine, and the second evening we returned to find the bar closed as the barman was on break. Overall a good stay

The bed was low for my knees. Same category but got a Smaller room that my previous stay.
