There are beautiful walks from the cottage door, including footpaths along the valley and past Sezincote House, as well as over the hill towards Blockley. Just under 2 miles away is Moreton-in-Marsh, a lovely Cotswold market town with many independent shops, pubs and cafés, and a railway station linking you to London Paddington and Great Malvern. Bourton-on-the-Hill is a great base in the Cotswolds from which to explore the many towns and villages this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has to offer, including Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden, Chipping Norton, Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway.
There are many National Trust properties nearby, including Chastleton House, Snowshill Manor and Garden, and Hidcote.
