GOOD STAY
My wife and I have stayed here before when we visit family in the area. As usual, all was good. My only complaint is that the TV was very hard to turn on. I had the desk person change the batteries and still the tv would not turn on except with difficulty. All else was good as we expected. Thanks

Michigan Wolverines GO BLUE!!
Very nice. Easy to check in and out. Room was very clean. Friendly staff. From Michigan and went to Morgantown, WV. Visited West Virginia University Campus on family business. The hotel was very easy to get to from the highway. Sonesta Essential hotel was great. Would stay there again!!

Hair on bed sheets. Open soap package in the shower with no soap. Wondering if someone had stayed there the previous night without a cleaning. No batteries in the remote. No coffee ready in the morning. Toilet leaking from the flange onto the bathroom floor. Not a good experience from what appeared to be a fairly recently remodeled hotel.

A book with a nice cover.
Our room was kinda small with no mini fridge, but was clean, had TV and a nice small bathroom.the bed was also pretty hard, my wife and I tossed all night.The breakfast left more to be desired, the had a waffle iron but no batter, and no fresh fruit either. There was sausage, eggs, bagels, cereal, muffins, toast, yogurt, orange juice, milk, and apple juice. For the price though it is what it is, a clean hotel with a breakfast.

This is an older property recently purchased by Sonesta. The linens had some stains and holes but smelled clean and fresh. The towels were thin and not absorbent. The hallways were musty smelling. Only ice machine on ground floor. The desk clerk was great and mentioned renovations and upgrades were in progress.

My experience..Paid for 2 queen beds,was given a full bed with pull out sofa..asked for extra lines,they forgot about us.. never did get to talk to a manager or a refund for the wrong room.i usually don't complain!

Mold on bathroom ceiling, broken hairdryer and broken window curtain. Very thin walls, could hear other guests. The TV was not in good shape, very bad picture and sound. Night front desk clerk was very rude when we called to in the middle of the night to report other guest being loud.

This property is in need of updating. The toilet was slow to flush, low water pressure, shower drains slowly, bathroom fan was extremely loud, hair dryer did not work, towels were thread bare, knob was gone from inside refrigerator so you couldn't tell what temperature it was set to, tv remote did not work. We checked in at 8:00pm, well after check-in time, and had to wait 40 minutes for our room. Breakfast was limited. We stayed 2 nights and no one came to clean our room. The hotel just seemed very understaffed. If you book through Expedia expect to have issues. According to the person that checked us in, only the manager has access to see if Expedia had paid. Even though I had paid Expedia I was told I would need to pay again because they couldn't tell I had paid and the manager was not available. It took over a week to get this straightened out. There was another family there that had the same issue. It was not just our family. The only positive thing I can say about this property is that it is conveniently located to shopping, dining, and the university.

When we checked in my reservation was for 2 double beds we were given 1 double bed then our sink was stopped up overflowig i called the front desk and was told the plumber would be there the following day so we had NOWHERE to wash our hands nor brush our teeth we then go to sleep and around 3am i hear all this water gushing over and the sink is overflowing all over the bathroom floor i have to throw our clean towels down and call the front again in which they offered to bring more towels to clean up the mess it was very disgusting and should have NEVER been given to us to stay in
