The Lemon Tree House - 5 Bedroom, 6 Bath Oceanfront Villa on Beautiful Tar Bay!

The Lemon Tree House is perfectly situated between the Exuma International Airport and Great Exuma’s capital city of Georgetown. You will catch glimpses of the legendary turquoise waters of Exuma as you make the short drive to the villa. Pull in through the landscaped private drive, enter the villa and melt into vacation mode as you gaze upon the blue waters through the Great Room’s wall of glass panel doors and windows.

The villa was designed for entertaining, inside and out. The open concept Great Room features 32’ vaulted ceilings with whitewashed rafters and two generous seating areas offering plenty of room to accommodate a family movie on the 65” LED TV, family games night, or a dance party with the SONOS sound system delivering the soundtrack from the in-ceiling speaker system. The chef – whether that is you or a private chef hired to cook for your group - will be part of the action, with the gourmet kitchen alongside the sitting areas and indoor dining table to provide easy and seamless flow. Step outside the Great Room and you are up close and personal with the star of the show – the legendary turquoise waters of Exuma. Recline in a sun lounger or day bed, splash in the heated infinity pool or pull up a stool at the BBQ bar as you soak in the panoramic ocean views. The ocean is just a few steps down from the patio – the white sand is perfect for swimming or a paddle, or perhaps an evening stroll to take in the shimmering stars of the carribean night sky.

No fighting over the “primary suite” at the Lemon Tree House, as each of the five bedrooms is spacious and luxuriously appointed, with its own private ensuite bathroom. Whether it is the seclusion of the pool cottage, the striking views of the oceanside rooms or the supersized garden-side rooms, each room has its special charm. If your group includes children, they are certain to select the bunk bed room, with lots of room to play or to gather for a movie on the 55” TV or video games on the PS4 gaming console! Most beautiful water and sand we’ve ever seen, and we were able to see it all day long from Lemon Tree. The house was perfectly appointed for our group of 5 couples. Plenty of individual space and plenty of space for us all to be together. We loved sitting in the pool staring out over the water. The beach was virtually private! Can’t recommend highly enough - we are already planning our return trip.

You can’t go wrong with this beachfront home!
Our trip was amazing! This home has everything you need and want. The home and beach location is wonderful. From all the kitchen utensils and appliances, to the most comfortable beds. This home is centrally located to other beaches and grocery stores. Honestly, there is no reason to go to another beach. Cecil, the property manager greets you upon arrival and gives you a rundown of the home and the awesome sound system. If I could rate this home higher, I most definitely would!!!!

Beautiful Property with a Spectacular Water View on an Island with Limited Infrastructure
Beautiful 5 bedroom property with exceptional beach and water access. The property is as it is represented or better. Great house for large families. Fully stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and for serving ten or more. Some limited maintenance issues including outside fans, lighting, and sound system not working; Direct TV outages; and battery failure in the front door lock. Chefs are available to prepare meals for your group and our experience with two during 3 nights was excellent. However, understand the local restaurants can be some distance and our experience on the nights we went to highly recommended restaurants was disappointing both with respect to the food and their failure to address insect and heat problems. Also, grocery items and supplies are expensive, limited and road conditions are challenging. Overall, a great house located on an exceptional beach.

Our recent stay at Lemon Tree House was nothing short of paradise for a week. The house, pool deck and beach were the perfect setup for an extended family vacation. Everything went better than planned. The house is amazing, the view, the view, the view....you won't get bored. The pool and beach are great. Rebecca and Cecil were always available to give me suggestions and answer questions. I hired Mike as our chef for 4 nights and the food and service were outstanding. That area has the best beach. An oasis on a paradise island.
Absolutely everything about this place was perfect…to include location and amenities. It’s beautiful. Believe me, you won’t regret it. They thought of everything to make you at home. Beautiful week in paradise
We stayed at Lemon Tree for a week in early March 2024. It perfectly fit our extended family of three adult couples and six kids. The house is beautiful, well maintained, and very clean. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into the details of the home and were excellent with communication and answering questions as we were preparing for the trip. The house is very close to the airport, but not so close that the planes bother you. We were able to fly from Charlotte, NC directly to Georgetown, and customs was quick and easy. Cecil was a responsive and friendly on-site host who met us when we arrived, showed us around the house, and restocked the house with supplies within an hour of being asked. We enjoyed every moment with him. We were delighted to have Chef Tevin and Sharell cook for us two evenings. Our only regret is not having them cook for us more often. We took a half-day boat tour with Robert’s Island tours, and it was a highlight for everyone, especially the kids. Bugs were not an issue for us during the day, as we had a light wind all week. We are glad that we followed the owners’ advice and brought a cooler of frozen meat and the food that our group is particular about. We also used the prestocking grocery service through Cecil since the availability and pricing of food and supplies in the local grocery stores is not what we are used to in the United States. Lemon Tree was perfect. You should go 🙂

We just returned from this stunning house. This house has absolutely everything you need for your stay. The pictures are a true reflection of what the house truly looks like. We had 11 people in our party and we had plenty of space. Rebecca was wonderful to work with and her guild was very helpful and very much appreciated. We have a few suggestions: an operating manual with instructions on how to have the TV sound come through the Sonos Speaker system and Streaming services without reprogramming the Fire TV stick; have baking soda and apple cider vinegar in the house for first aid on sand fleas bites.
