Wonderful scenic stay!
Andrea has thought of everything! This is my second time staying here and this time I was by myself just for a trip to relax. I feel extremely safe at her property and she has thought of so many things to help take care of her guests. Her cottage is extremely clean and well taken care of. She is available anytime you have a question and very responsive. The property is beautiful, right on the river. I saw so much wildlife this time especially. Eagles, heron, pileated woodpeckers, squirrels and many more. It's a great place to stay if you're a fisherman or just like exploring the area. You can put in your boat literally right up the road or go down to Cotter which is just a few miles away. Lots of people canoe and there's also the swimming hole to enjoy. It's a great property and I highly recommend it. I will be a returning guest because it feels like home.

Great place on the White River. Best trout fishing around right out your back door. Andrea is a great host who has thought of everything you could possibly need. This was our fourth stay at Wildcat cottage and we can’t wait to come back again.

Perfect stay for fishing on the White.
Two fishing buddies who make a yearly trip to fish a few days on the White. These few days off are always a big deal for us. We look forward to it every year. This cabin is perfect. After a day on the river, you can come back and fish some more. The host is very kind and friendly. Highly recommend.

This was our first visit to the Wildcat Lodge, but it certainly won’t be our last! After a combined total of 38 years of fishing in Cotter, we have finally found THE PLACE to stay! Excellent accommodations, amazing views, and one of the greatest hosts you could ever dream of having make the Wildcat Lodge a “no brainer” place to stay! Andrea is a awesome host and has the house stocked to the gills with anything and everything you could ever imagine in the event you might have forgotten something on your trip. Now that the Wildcat is on our radar, we plan to make a trip out to stay every year!

Great getaway
We were looking for a short little getaway to escape the hustle and bustle of our very stressful everyday lives. We knew we couldn't be To far from home and this was a perfect spot. We enjoyed the family of woodpeckers that greeted us each morning and afternoon from our deck. The cottage setting among The beautiful trees and steps from the river cant be beat. Everything was thought thru and handy for us to find within the cottage. We enjoyed our boat ride up to the dam and the surprise firetruck ride was a treat. We fished from the bank by the firepit while swinging in the porch swing watching the fog roll in. Andrea is wonderful and attentive. Quick to respond and made us feel like extended family. Our grandson’s first comment when we arrived at “Wildcat Cottage” and met Ms Andy was “This place is heavenly!” He just turned 9 while we were on vacation. I have to second his impression. My wife and I have stayed at many places over the years. I have a test for each place we stay at that advertises “Fully furnished just bring food and clothes”. I tried to find something that wasn’t already thought of and Ms Andy had it all covered. When I say coved that goes for adults and children even teenagers! Not one thing was left out. Ms Andy is one of the “Special People” that everyone should have the pleasure of meeting and getting to know on vacation. Sincerely, The Brack Family

The property was beautiful, right on the river, and the cottage was exceptionally clean and organized. Andrea was a perfect hostess, showed us where everything was located and had many essential extras in case we had forgotten anything. She thought of everything and was extremely friendly. She checked on us occasionally to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The location is perfect for those wanting a fishing vacation or just a relaxing getaway. It was wonderful to start our mornings with coffee on the deck overlooking the river. And spend our evenings by the river in the swing watching the fog roll in. Lots of wildlife in the area, chickens, deer, birds, even horses to see across the road. It's a beautiful, picturesque property and we had a lovely time there and we will definitely be returning. Thank you Andrea for taking care of us and making us feel like family! It was such a blessing to us!

We love this place on the White River!
We visit the area often for trout fishing and have been to all the local access areas and the best fishing by far is right in front of this cabin. The cabin is well laid out and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. The owner has thought of everything! This is our 2nd time staying in this cabin and we will be back again. Love the new 1/2 bath off the master.
