The hotel was situated in the back and beyond. Most un-picturesque: a very limited breakfast also. Basically a functional place to stay for a VERY short time.

Was a very pleasant place to stay! My flight was delayed so didnt get to the accommodation until 3am, the person and the front desk was very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was very nice too

The room was over priced compared to similar properties. Only 1 chair in room for 2 people. Ac did not work. Paint was peeling in room. Very sparse and not homely at all.

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere! We booked one night stay with breakfast and dinner included. Dinner is from 7pm- 9pm, we showed up at 7:15 and all grilled fish was gone. I asked restaurant manager that if they will bring some more out, she said no and that’s it for the fish tonight, we just have to eat whatever is available left there. By the way, their dinner buffet had no more than 10 kinds of food including soup, main and dessert to start with. Apparently that’s their way to be cost effective!

I hope I can return!
It was amazing: friendly, helpful, accommodating service, excellent meals (breakfast is free), comfortable beds and spacious bathroom. A one hour walk to Old Zadar where you can spend days exploring. From ultramodern shops to ancient ruins, so much of interest. Excellent museums. Pleasant outdoor courtyard for eating or lounging.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and amazing showers!
Was a great location in respects of being a 7 minute drive from the Central Bus Station and another 7 minute drive to the Town Centre. Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly which made a difference after a long bus journey. The Beds were so comfortable, the showers were so powerful I think the jets were unintentionally giving me a massage!

Convenient for Zadar airport and Gazenice (port)
The hotel was convenient for a one night stay. The Ryanair flight arrives too late to catch the last ferry to the islands from Gazenice, therefore one is forced to spend a night in Zadar. However, since our last visit 4 years ago the departure point for ferries to Dugi Otok had changed to Gazenice. The staff did not make this clear to us despite asking if we were going there, so we went first to the previous departure pont in the old port, where a kindly person told us that we had to go to Gazenice. However, we caught the ferry with time to spare and on returning from our holiday on Dugi Otok to go to Zadar airport we found that the signposting was good, and the road to the airport passed close by the Hotel Porto, making it a very quick and easy journey once we knew the way.

Hotel Porto
We arrived late to the hotel due to traffic delays and distance travelled, the gentleman on reception was cheerful, welcoming and pointed us in the direction of a local restaurant so that we could have something to eat as the restaurant on site closed at 9pm even though we were told it closed at midnight. The staff need to smile more and make the hotel feel a happier place to be.
