Hotel Italia is conveniently located a short walk from the Munich train station and a short walk to Marienplatz. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, room was clean, and shower was hot. The negative was that our room faced the street (some rooms do not), and the street noice was loud. No AC.

Basic hotel, basic standard of cleanliness (used bottle top on the window ledge), basic breakfast. Room door didn’t feel secure. Awful smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom that got worse overnight into the morning. Not a very nice area. Next to a sex club.
