The Villa at Val du Vino Winery

The Villa at Val du Vino Winery, located in downtown Murphys, is the ideal gathering spot for family and friends. A nicely remodeled home with a relaxing pool, hot tub, grassy lawn area, front deck, back patio, and plenty of off-street parking, surrounded by 3 areas of open space and vineyards. The home sits just off Main Street adjacent the Val du Vino Winery, so you're about as close and convenient to downtown Murphys as you want to be, but without the traffic and parking issues. Just a few minutes walk to the Murphys Hotel, shops, restaurants, two dozen wine tasting rooms, community park, playground, bocce courts and the river. A comfortable and inviting floor plan with open living, dining and kitchen areas that make it an an easy place to gather. A gourmet chefs kitchen is well-stocked for cooking and entertaining, with a Dacor 8-burner gas stove and two ovens, refrigerator with automatic icemaker, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, French press, coffee grinder, electric tea kettle, toaster and blender, plus a gas BBQ on the patio. Coffee beans, half and half, teas, hot chocolate, and basic spices are provided. Five-star amenities like chocolates by the bedside, snacks, fresh flowers and free WiFi have it stand out from the rest. This home lives primarily on one level with three bedrooms, three full baths on the main level, one bedroom and a half bath downstairs. If you're looking to sleep 10, there is an another room downstairs with a set of bunk beds that can be opened up for an additional $100/per person per stay for up to 2 nights. The layout is a comfortable choice for guests of all ages, with a wheelchair accessible ramp from parking to the front door, and a stall shower in one of the bedrooms, making it easier for those with limited mobility. Other comforts include central heating and air conditioning, a toasty gas fireplace, laundry room with pool towels provided, a piano, two guitars, cornhole, all-age games and books to keep you entertained. A fully fenced backyard keeps pets safe and happy. Plenty of off-street parking for vehicles, plus a level spot on the concrete basketball pad to park a boat. On various Tuesday nights we host an all acoustic open mic in the music barn next door, and you are welcome to drop by to watch or participate. Very pleasant location walking distance to downtown
We were four couples in town for a group reunion in Murphys. Just wanted a place where we could stay together comfortably and socialize comfortably, and the Villa was all of that. Well-furnished kitchen and comfortable living area. The one question we had (about TV internet channels) was resolved immediately. Recommended.

A Great Girls' Weekend
The house was great. It is walking distance to downtown, the wine tasting rooms, shops and restaurants. We were there for a girls' weekend. We did not use the bbq or dipping pool, but we did use the kitchen to fix breakfast and dinner. We also didn't take advantage of the games, but many are available. The bedrooms are cute, and the 3 upstairs bedrooms each have a balcony or patio. The kitchen is great and the open concept makes it easy to visit with each other. The flowers on the table, the half and half in the fridge, and the chocolates by the bed were a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic house for girls weekend.
We had a great stay and loved the very well stocked kitchen. The beds were all very comfortable and you cant beat the location to town! We did have an issue with the hot tub, but the host was very responsive and even followed up the next day. I would definitely stay there againstay

House was clean, other than dead bugs in window sills, patios were dirty, bar-b-q pit was really dirty. Air filters were covered with dirt, mold around air return in hall way. Air filters really needed to be changed out.

Girls Trip to Murphys
This was my second time staying at this property. I love Murphy’s and the location of this house is unbeatable. Sadly my first experience was much better. This time the pool was quite dirty - leaves, dirt, dead insects & dead frogs found in the pool right upon arrival. The patio furniture was missing many of the cushions and the cushions that were there were quite old and dirty. We ended up putting them to the side and not using them at all. The dishes in the kitchen were not cleaned well. We found food stuck to most of the silverware and some of the dishes. We ended up washing everything before eating just incase. The couch smelled of BO in certain spots and the floor turned your bare feet black. The house is really beautiful and the location is wonderful. The host is accommodating and easy to communicate with. It seems that the upkeep may be lacking though. Overall we had a great time but unfortunately I don’t think I would ever reserve this house again for a vacation due to the cleanliness.

Great home in Murphys! I wouldn't have changed a thing! This is well maintained home with plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy, and we enjoyed them all. Everything was top notch. Very clean, quiet and comfortable with room for our entire party. Full kitchen with everything you need. Easy two minute walk to Main Street and all of Murphys’ great wine tasting and attractions. We will enjoy staying here on our next trip to Murphys with friends.

Fantastic house, even better location!
The house has just about every amenity you could ask for. The only bummer for us was we went in early Spring and it wasn’t warm enough to use the pool. But the hot tub was fantastic! Such an easy walk into town, our group would love to come back during the summer some time. THANKS!
