This had to be the worst hotel I’ve stayed in to date. The property looked like it was from the 1960s or a scene from Breaking Bad. The lamp shade had so much rust on it I took it to the front desk to be replaced. The stove was rusted, toilet worked periodically. The chairs had no cushion , when you sat on it you hit the wood. The staff were kind and were hard workers but the owner has barely invested in maintenance. We ended our stay early and finished our vacation at the Homewood Suites Hilton.

The hotel is right next to the beach. The part that I did not like is that city rain runoff pipes are right there. The building is old but in an acceptable state. Corridors not very clean. Rooms also could be cleaner. The maintenance people are very kind and helpful.

The people that work here were so nice, but this place is in need of some major updates. It’s Myrtle so not expecting the ritz but also not expecting the stairwell to look like the one in titanic when it’s going down! There ended up being 2-3 inches of standing water in there by the time the storm was all said and done. It’s a lovely location. Right on the beach with close access to restaurants and stores.

For what I paid I expected the property to be a little more up to date…dryer vent leads to the stairwell and causes lint everywhere and I slipped because of it…the curtains in our room were broken so we couldn’t draw the curtains all the way shut and they were full of holes. And not really sure what was going on with the pillows…they’re square pillows and not even standard pillows??? But it was only for one night

No hot tub. Website lists a hot tub but none exists. Where the hot tub is supposed to be, it's filled in. One elevator. Had to constantly fight long lines to use the elevator. Told to move my car but no place to move it. Apparently, one of the nights I went there, a modular was being moved through the parking lot that they told me to park. They called my room and said I need to move my car but literally had no where to park and wasn't told where I needed to park. Ended up just going to medieval times instead of parking. Maintenance isn't the greatest. I see chipped paint in many locations. There are some places where the concrete has broken down, like the pool area. Breakfast was included in the price but was Okay. Wasn't great but still better then buying eggs and cereal and having to make my own food. Pots and pans in the room were non-existent. Bought a pizza to cook in the oven and no cookie sheets. Their was one pan to boil macaroni and cheese (wasn't non-stick so wouldn't work for eggs) but no spatulas. One of the front burners in my didn't work and had to use the back burner instead of the front burner. Additionally, their was supposedly a military discount but because I booked through expedia, I didn't get it. Be nice if that was more pronounced so that I could book directly through the hotel. Occasional smell of weed coming from the balconies. The room was nice overall; I did have a really fun time. We had six people in our party.

Check in was good. The room was clean but the grounds around looked terrible. The hallway was dirty and outside areas weren't clean. The toilet clogged as soon as we got there. Told maintenance and the man said I must have took too big of a dunk and gave me a pluger. $700 for two nights to have to unclogged the toilet myself is an issue. The bathroom door wouldn't close. There isn't a rack or soap holder for soap or shower gel. You have to get out of the shower each time you want to add soap to your bath cloth. The lock on the balcony door is completely broken. Couldn't lock it at all. The pillows were ridiculous, definitely not hotel quality. This place is truck stop quality. Would I recommend? Absolutely not.
