Not a fan that workers were smoking weed and that smell kept us in the room for the longest time due to one of the guest allergic. Also not a fan of the slides not working when that's why we booked the motel.

The rooms and the hotel are just dirty and nasty. Maids ONLY clean when you check out. When we got to our room there was dirt , trash, and some sticky stuff all over the floor. When we told Brian the manager his response was that there is a broom and cleaning supplies in the room. We go to Myrtle beach 3 times a year for around 4 days each time and have never had a bad experience until staying at this nightmare of a hotel. They couldn’t even be bothered to clean the rooms for all the Marines that were there celebrating the Marines birthday. Either way I will never stay here again or or even recommend it to a homeless person. Let’s not forget about the mold and the cracked tub floor in my room either.

The Crown Reef did an amazing job renovation their property. We loved the room and the new water park and pool area. We had a great stay and would definitely go back.

We had an amazing time at Crown Reef! Our room was spacious and had everything that we needed! We loved the option of the kitchen to cook our basic breakfast and lunch! We love the water slides, lazy river and pools and hot tubs! There was a lot of space, so it never felt crowded! It was very easy to drive down to the strip to see the sights, but truthfully, you didn’t even feel the need to leave! The beach right out front was gorgeous with beautiful sand as well! We spent our days soaking up the sun! Crown reef is beautiful and perfect for an affordable family holiday! We will be back for sure, and highly recommend it!

The stay was amazing. All the staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable the rooms adequate in size. The bathroom is small. Very clean. The restaurant on site has great food. Prices are what you expect for a hotel. The one downside is the TV is outdated.

The waterslides were fun! The pool water was ALWAYS at 84-85! Nice and warm! The hot tubs perfect. Lady at check in could have been more friendly and happy. Towels at the pool are tiny! But whatever, it’s complimentary. The shampoo/conditioner in the rooms are a joke… bring back up.

It appears the rooms are being renovated and our room was clean and comfortable. Definitely a place for families with children. Pool area clean. Only thing I would recommend is a bath mat for tub area. Shower area slippery.

It was a great experience and had a lot for the kids and adults. The only thing I didn't like was there were dirty dishes in the oven and i saw a few roaches. Overall my kids enjoyed it so thats all that matter. Staff was great and responded quick and was very pleasant and helpful.

Honestly, I read the negative reviews before coming and I'm glad the negative ones didn't deter us. It was amazing for kids and families, and I've travelled a lot and even the nicest of hotels, have a few things they could fix. We will recommend this. the pools and waterslides are so much fun and great location to the beach. We loved our stay.

The only good thing about our stay here was the loco gecko restaurant in the hotel. The Bartender Ennis and his crew made our days. Better days from breakfast to dinner. And of course the beach was fantastic Management cares nothing about the comfort and care of their guests
